We set out toward the train station first thing in the morning. I leave my home, my farm, and my store in the care of my neighbor, Randy. He's the most intimidating person in town, but he's good at what he does. If I need something protected he's the one I call.

As I join Dean and Sasha I notice Sasha holding a handful of flowers. She rushes over to me and places one in my hair. "Do you like it?" She asks. "It's nice." I answer. "I told Dean you'd like petunias." She replies. She looks to Dean and he shrugs. I chuckle. We continue down the road and make light work of the day long journey. When dusk nears we leave the path to find a place to set up camp.
"Why can't we set up camp on the road?" Sasha inquires. "Because it leaves you wide open to anyone that might want to rob you." Dean answers. "Which would be alot of people in these parts." I reply. "What about the forest ogres?" She asks. Dean cracks his neck and does a one piece combo on the air, "I'd rather fight them than people." He answers. "Why?" Sasha asks. "Because ogres aren't as smart as people. They just attack and try to steal without even thinking anything through." I answer. I start a fire and put some wood in it, "Besides, they won't come near fire." I say standing up. I stretch and survey the area. "You should get comfortable Sasha. I'll take first watch." I say. "I call second." Dean replies. "It's all yours." I say. I leave the two and climb a tree to overlook the area.
It's dark and seemingly a moonless night. I don't want to scare Sasha but I'm sure Vampires are going to be out tonight.

Souless humanoid demons that feast on the living. They look like regular people but they don't do the things normal people do. They don't sleep, eat regular food, or date one another. Still if one walked up to you you could hold a whole conversation with them and never think anything else of it.
The way to decipher them is by smell. They smell of burnt wood for some reason and they don't like sun or moonlight. It doesn't kill them but it irritates their skin. To destory them you have to drive a something through their heart, simple.

"Seth!" I hear. I look down to Sasha holding a banana leaf with a fish on it. She holds it up to me, "I made it, it's good." She says with a smile. I jump down and accept it from her, "It looks and smells good." I say. "I caught it and cooked it myself. It helps I can swim really well." She replies. "A great skill to have." I reply. I eat some and it's the best fish I've ever tasted. "This is amazing." I say. "That's what Dean said!" She replies. She laughs, "Thank you." She says.
"No, thank you! This is the best fish I've ever had." I reply. "It's an old Cambria recipe. Hey, I'm going to leave you be. We can talk tomorrow if I'm asleep before you come back from watch." She says. "Sounds good. Sleep well." I reply. She nods and leaves back to the camp.
I finish the fish and return to my perch in the tree.

Hours pass without incident. But at exactly 12AM a howl rings out echoing through the woods with reverberation. I stand on the branch and scan the area. In the darkness I see something darting nearby. "Dean, Sasha! Heads up!" I yell. The second the words leave my mouth something collides with the tree snapping it in half. I land on my feet but the attacker is on me within seconds. I fight it off and I hear it hissing.
As expected, it's a vampire.
"Give me your blood!" She hisses.
I push her off and she lands nearby. She's back to her feet as quickly as she fell. "You have the blood of a Deity. I can smell it without fail." She says calmly. She sinisterly slinks towards me.
"I don't fight women." I reply. "Then have solace in the fact that I'm far more than a woman! I am Shayna, Deity Of Vampires." She announces. "Great." I hear. Dean comes out of the brush beside me, "I've been itching to knock off a little rust." He says. "She's a woman." I reply. "Seth, it's like she said. She's more than a woman." Dean reminds mimicking Shayna. Shayna begins her assault and Dean locks into battle with her. They spar and Shayna matches Dean almost hit for hit. She kicks him in the chest and he lands beside me. Before I can check on him he wipes blood from his mouth and leaps to his feet. "If you weren't a slimy vampire you'd be my type of woman." He says. "Flattery will not save you." Shayna replies. They continue fighting and I break away from the scene to check on Sasha.

I find her fast asleep in her tent. To think she can sleep with all the noise is astounding.

I turn back to Shayna and Dean and see he's getting the best of her. Though once he gets her in position to inflict his Dirty Deeds she begins to plead for mercy. "If you spare me I'll tell you something that can help you. I know who you and your brother are." She pants. "Lies!" Dean says. "Wait!" I cut in. "What?! You believe her?" Dean asks. "Let's just see what she has to say." I answer. Dean sighs and releases Shayna.
