It has been three days since Serena got mad at Pierre and she still was. The raven haired girl didn't see him and she didn't care. Tom and Agatha had been lecturing her about it and telling her to forgive the blond. Today was the same as the other days that the couple along with Malory was in the shop.
"No and it's final Uncle Tom." she said.
"But sweet pea, can you really live without him?" Agatha asked.
Serena did not answer but an obvious sudden fear came over her. Agatha glanced at Tom and he nodded secretly.
"Pierre is good looking, a complete gentleman. I wouldn't be surprised that he would find a new girl right away if you leave him." Tom said as he placed back a stray book.
Agatha was combing Malory's hair and nodding at everything Tom was telling Serena. She was watching the raven haired girl's reaction and when Serena seemed like she was about to explode Agatha cleared her throat and Tom stopped.
"All i'm saying is... It won't be easy finding someone like the lad." Tom said closing the topic.
Serena was silent. "He repainted the walls without my permission."
"Only half the shop. Only in the 'lounge area'" Tom replied.
"He threw the old furnitures! Which was our family heirlooms!"
"He did not. It's in the storage."
"Well he! He... H-He..." Serena did not have anything more to say.
"He didn't do anything wrong. You've just been too sensitive lately sweet pea." Agatha said.
Serena pursed her lips. Tom and Agatha took it as a sign that they should go and they did, giving Serena her time alone. When Tom and his family left Emily came in the store, walking in like a ray of sunshine in a tank top and skinny jeans.
"Hello, it's been a while." Emily greeted formally.
Serena was surprised but of course she couldn't send Emily away, she loved her and her crazy antics. She welcomed her and the young blonde sat in the lounge. Emily had brought cakes with her, Serena made tea and sat down with her after serving the cakes.
"So, how have you been? You seem healthy." Emily said.
"You were here just yesterday...." Serena said.
"Oh shush. Just enjoy dessert." Emily said and started eating the butter almond chiffon cake on her plate.
Serena stared at the triple chocolate cake on her plate and remembered the first 'disaster' date she had with Pierre the other night. This is actually the first time she and Pierre got into a fight. Usually they agree on everything but right now she just doesn't know why she's annoyed by him. Serena didn't have the appetite so she pushed her plate aside and drank tea instead. Emily noticed but remained silent.
"Pierre's been doing so well." Emily said.
"I don't care, and does he know you're here again today?" Serena asked.
Emily shook her head confidently. "My brother does not need to know my every actions. I'm not a child anymore."
Serena wanted to chuckle at how Emily was being dramatic and adorable. The blonde girl finished her dessert and wiped her lips softly then stared at Serena.
"I'm kidding, he's miserable." Emily said.
Serena didn't know how to respond so she drank tea again.
"Well, that's all. I know you won't be talking to him soon so i'm leaving you with that thought. Goodbye." Emily said and stood up.
"Why is everyone pressuring me? Just because I don't talk to him and i'm angry means i'll be breaking up with him!" Serena said and broke down to tears.
