Luke's POV~

I felt a tear slip out of my eye. Wait I was crying? No. I couldn't like her. She was..... I don't know. Ugh I fucked up big time. That could be me, Jared.

I had to bully her. For my popularity. Shit it. I ran as they continued kissing. I went to a nearby tree and held my head down. It hurt.

'Your such a bad person!'

'Your so horrible and I don't think that the two of you will ever be together'

My thoughts devoured me as I fell to my knees, crying.

"Luke?" I heard a voice call out. Elena.
"Umm are you ok" she said shuffling her feet. Jared appeared next to her and followed her gaze. He glared at me.

"Uh yea I'm fine.. Just umm got some bad grades and stuff...." I answered.

GAH IM SO STUPID!

"Well Uh the school doors opened" Jared said pulling her along with him.
"We should get going."

She looked back at me as she walked. She smiled lightly but then scrunched her eyebrows. She looked at Jared then down.

She really hates me.

Elena's POV~

We walked through the school doors. Jared went right and I went left. After a while I heard Luke call my name. He shuffled up to me. "Um I was wondering if you want to walk with me to the gym since you know same period and yeah.." He said scratching his head.

"Uh sure" I said following the trail. "So umm you and Jared?" He asked. I gasped. "How did you know that?!" I said my cheeks turning a light shade of red. He chuckled. Wait why is he being so nice all of a sudden.

We reached the doors of the gym and he stood back. "Are you coming?" I asked. He scoffed. "I can't be seen with you" he said rolling his eyes.

I sighed. I should've known he wouldn't change. I opened the doors and went in and sat on the bleachers with my class. After 3 minutes, Luke came in. Fuck that blonde haired idiot.

I scooted over and sat with my other best friend, Janica.
She smiled at me. "Hey" I said settling down. "You look happy!" She said. "Yea.." I said, my cheeks turning pink.

"Is it a boy?! It's got to be a boy! Omg is it Jared?!?!" She asked. I told her about everything with Jared and she kept rambling about how cute we are.

"Ok! Everyone, Were gonna have a nice, clean game of dodgeball today. Get into groups of 2 and then I'll pick the groups on each team" My gym teacher, Mr.Puhl said.

Me and Janica immediately became partners and we started talking. "Aww does Elena have a friend?" I heard Dylan say as he came up to us, smirking. "Fuck off" Janica muttered. "What?" He asked sarcastically, putting his hand to his ear. "I said Fuck off! Why do you and your group have to be such dicks?You guys fuck every single thing up then make excuses and shit! Leave us the fuck alone!" She said standing up about to punch him.

I pulled her back down. "Let's move somewhere else" I whispered before pulling her to the top of the top of the bleachers.

Luke's POV~

Dylan came up to me in the bleachers. "So thinking of doing anything to her?" He said pointing at Elena and smirking. "Yea.. I have an Idea" I answered, smirking back.

Elena's POV~

Mr.Puhl blew the whistle and we started our game of dodgeball. I just started throwing balls at random people, getting them out.

I went to go get a sip of water. When I came back, a ball was sailing towards me. Fast.

I didn't have time to move as it hit me on the head. I fell down, feeling tired and dizzy. I touched my forehead to see blood coming out. A lot. The last thing I saw was Luke and his friends laughing about 15 ft away from me when I blacked out.

Luke's POV~
I sailed the ball in her direction. It hit her head and she fell. I laughed with my friends, though it seemed like a forced laugh.

I glanced at Janica and watched her look over at Elena. Soon her expression turned to horrified. She let out a shrill scream as I followed her gaze to what she was looking at as my mouth dropped.

Elena. Floor. Blood. Eyes closed. Not breathing. My throat clogged up as I myself stopped breathing. The sight was horrible.

I watched Janica run over to Elena as I did the same. She saw me and stood away from me. "This is all your fault! Why do you have to be so fucked up! Stay away from her cause all you do is hurt her! Do you even have a good reason?!" She cried as I saw a tear slipped out of her eye.

Mr.Puhl rushed over and called an ambulance. She was losing a lot of blood by the minute. I... What if I was the reason she... Died? What if she dies?

Soon enough Jared bursted through the gym doors along with some people with a stretcher. "What happened?!" He asked repeatedly. He followed Janica's gaze and saw me. He scowled. "Why are you-" he stopped and shook his head. "Your a monster" he said crying and walking over to Elena.

"Oh my god Elena stay with me" he said, holding onto her limp body as they dragged her away.

I am a monster.
