The SEAL's Daughter: A SEAL Team Fanfiction

Chapter 1

~Jessie's P.O.V.~
  Growing up with a parent in the military is not the easiest thing in life. Especially when it's your father and he's the only parent you have left. It's also not easy when you never know when he will get spun up on a mission because he's a Navy SEAL, but I'm not really supposed to talk about that. My name is Jessie Lynne Quinn, and I'm the daughter of Special Warfare Operator Sonny Quinn, who is also known as Bravo 3 by his teammates on Bravo Team. Bravo team is one of the top teams in DEVGRU, but that's all I'm gonna say cause I, a civilian, am not even supposed to be talking about my dads job. Anyway, more about me. I am 20, and I currently have no job because I do competitive gymnastics. Right now I'm currently at my dads place in Virginia Beach for a break from competition for a while. Today is the first bravo team family barbecue of the summer.Everyone from bravo plus their wives and kids will be there.
Me - "dad!! Come on! Uncle Jason just texted me saying that everyone is there waiting on us!" ~I call everyone on bravo aunt and uncle cause they basically raised me~
Dad - "Geeze Jess, I'm coming!! Why are you in such a hurry anyway?"
Me - "cause I'm ready to see everyone! I don't get to see y'all that much cause I'm either training or y'all get spun up! Plus Emma(uncle Jason's daughter) is gonna be there and I haven't seen her since Christmas, plus me and her need to talk about our upcoming cruise!"
Dad - "oh- wait what cruise? When are y'all going on a cruise? And why am I just now hearing about this? Does your uncle Jason know? Do we need to send Cerberus(the dog) with you two?"
Me - "I'm just now telling you this cause you guys keep getting spun up before we get the chance. Emma and I were planning on telling y'all today. And no y'all don't need to send the dog with us, but y'all probably will anyway."
Dad - "I have no problem with y'all going on the cruise but you two have definitely got to convince your uncle Jason about this. And we will definitely be sending Cerberus with you. At least you two know the basic commands for him and he will only bite someone to protect you two."
Me - "thanks dad! And I have no problem with taking the dog, we just need to convince uncle Brock to let us."
Dad - "you're welcome! Now let's get going before they send Brock and Cerberus to come get us"
Me - "you're right about that"
  With that being said, we got in my dads place and headed to uncle rays house, which is where the barbecue was at. When we got there, uncle Brock was outside with Cerberus so I hopped out the truck and was immediately covered in kisses by the dog. After a few minutes, I was finally able to get up and give uncle Brock a hug. After that we headed inside, where I was greeted by uncle Trent and uncle Jason with a hug.
Uncle Jason - "geeze Jess stop growing up! You and Emma are starting to make me feel old"
Dad - "Tell me about it"
Me - "haha very funny uncle Jason! Did Emma tell you about the cruise her and I are going on in one week?!"
Uncle Jason- "yes, y'all can go but you have to take Cerberus and uncle Brock!"
Me - "thanks uncle Jace- wait why do we have to take uncle Brock? No offense uncle Brock"
Uncle Brock - "none taken"
Uncle Jason - "he is just gonna fly with y'all to the port cause of the dog and he will also fly back to Virginia with y'all!"
Me - "oh ok that's fine! It makes sense too! People would find it weird the two civilians like Emma and I would be traveling alone with a US Navy Seal bomb dog"
Uncle Brock - "plus I have his paperwork and all that. You know I could always go on the cruise as a chaperone for y'all!"
Dad - "that is not a bad idea, what do you think boss? Brock can control the dog better than anyone."
Uncle Jason - "it's true! I have no problems with it but Blackburn has to approve it and the girls need to be ok with it! They are both adults so this is their choice."
  By now Emma had joined us.
Emma - "hey jess!!"
Me - "hey em! So you ready for the cruise?!"
Emma - "omg yes! You know we have to take Cerberus right?"
Me - "ya I know! They also just suggested that we take uncle Brock with us, but they feel that we are old enough to make that decision"
   Emma and I both knew something was up with our dads for them to agree with us making adult decisions.
Emma - "I have no problems with uncle Brock going, do you Jess?"
Me - "no I'm fine with it. The question is are our dads really ok with this?"
Dad and uncle Jason - "yes!"
Me and Emma - "thank y'all so much!"
  We all finished talking and then went into the backyard to eat and us bravo children(me, Emma, Mikey— uncle Jasons son, Jameelah and ray jr—uncle rays kids) began playing a game of tag. The barbecue ended around 7 and everyone started to go home. Emma rode back to my dads place with us cause she stayed the night and we were planning on going shopping in the morning for stuff for the cruise. Uncle Brock even said he would go with us so we can talk about what all we are going to do on the cruise.
~The next morning~
Early the next morning Emma and I woke up to the smell of bacon and a Belgian malinois running into my bedroom.
Me - "morning to you too Cerberus!" I said while petting the dog on his head.
Dad - "Jess!! Emma!!! Breakfast is ready!"
Emma - "coming uncle sonny! Hey jess?"
Me - "yeah Emma?"
Emma - "do think that our dads and Blackburn agreed to let uncle Brock and Cerberus go on the cruise cause they might think something will happen to us?"
Me - "yeah, I do to be honest! But I'm ok with it, at least it will only be uncle Brock and not all of bravo! That would get out of hand way to fast!!"
Emma - "very true!"
  Emma and I finished talking and getting ready then headed to the kitchen where my dad and uncle Brock were. Once we finished eating uncle Brock took Emma and I to the mall so we could get some more outfits for the cruise. After the mall we went and had lunch and talked about what were gonna do while the cruise. After that uncle Brock dropped us off at my dads place and picked up the dog. They went home to start packing their stuff cause we leave in two days. Shortly after we got back to my dads place uncle Jason and Mikey showed up to get Emma. Once they left my dad and I ordered pizza and watched a movie while I started to pack some of my stuff for trip. After the first movie ended we decided to watch The Fast and The Furious, but i was so worn out that I fell asleep and my dad ended up carrying me to bed. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day! Couldn't have been better!!
