As we were getting into the car Killian said that he what drive.
"It will help me get more used to this world." I laughed a little while he opened the door for me.
'What a gentleman,' I thought to myself. Killian opened to door for himself and hopped in the car. "Here catch," I said as I threw him the keys to him.
He caught to keys perfectly as the chain landed on his hook. "Swan," he asked, "where the bloody hell does this go?"
"Here let me help," I said with a smile. I rolled over until I was completely in his lap. I touched his hand and wrapped the keys around my fingers. Our hands moved as one as I guided where the keys should go. I helped guide them into their position. "There! Perfect," I laughed, "now come on I'm gonna be late for work!"
Killian's face got a little bit more serious. "Do you want to talk first," he asked, "about....Neal? I know how hard this must be on you." My smile quickly fell and tears started to overtake my eyes.
"Babe it's kind of hard to talk about. It also might be a little hard talking with you about it because.....you know...I loved him," I said. I tried to forcefully put on a smile hiding myself from falling into a puddle of tears. But why had I said loved like Neal didn't even matter anymore? He still had a huge space in my heart.
"Love I want to listen. I want to know how you feel and I want you to know that I'm there for you." Killian pulled me closer to his body letting me collapses into his chest. All that I had inside of me started to pour out.
"Killian it's just really hard," I sobbed. "Neal is gone because of me. If I just not given up on him he could still be here right now. But he's gone and I can't bring him back. This is all my fault." I continued to cry into his chest as he kissed the top of my forehead.
"Hey," he said bringing my forehead up so could look in my eyes. "This isn't your fault. Neal wanted to die so he could save all of us. He wouldn't want you to morn he would want you to be happy and so do I."
"But now Henry doesn't have a father and I know this is bothering him. I don't know how I can give him his best chance without someone helping me," I replied. I was trying to hold back the tears but it just wasn't working.
Killian brought his hand to my face and he wiped away my tears. "Swan don't worry. I'll help you! I know it won't be the same but I really want you to be happy," he said with his charming grin. "I love you and I would go to the end of the world for you. So let me help a little. Okay?"
I stopped crying and started to smile a little more. "Okay," I replied. "You do know I love you right." He nodded as I said these words. "You know what screw work! I'll skip today because you deserve a little fun Captain." I started to giggle feeling a lot better.
"What are we going to do," he asked seductively. I put my hand in his hair in smiled.
"Think of it as an early Christmas present," I grinned, "where you can be a little bit naughty."
Killian laughed and put his tongue onto his lip.
"And," I said, "you'll need this off." I pulled off his shirt admiring his abs all over his body. We hadn't done "it" yet but I felt like we were ready. I really loved him and he deserved this
"C'mon lets go," I said. We ran up to my apartment laughing and smiling and locked the door shut not wanting to miss a moment of our time together.
