My eyes flickered open when I heard the sound of scattering pans. I ran up from my bed and into my kitchen. Once again, my little monsters went through the cabinets and threw my new kitchen set around. I picked up both kids and placed them in the play pen. I quietly picked up the pans and put them away, trying to not awake my husband.

Cold hands wrapped around my waist and solid lips kissed my neck. "Did I wake you?" I asked. "Only a little." He answered. "Sorry." I continued to put the rest of the pans away. "I have to get ready for work anyways." "It's Sunday?" I questioned. "They need me." He kissed my cheek and went up the stairs.

I cleaned up the living room. Ever since the twins got normal beds, they've been making messes every morning. I heard the door open and looked back to see my husband leaving. "Bye!" I shouted as the door closed. People always ask about our age difference. He's 17 years older than me. For some reason, it doesn't bother me at all. I love him and thats all that matters.

I can't remember much of my past. I've never met my parents. Everytime I bring it up, Josh tells me to be quiet. I guess it makes him uncomfortable too.

He's been acting different lately though. I try not to think the worst but I don't think he loves me anymore.

I decided to ignore my thoughts and got the kids dressed for the beach. We needed to get out of the house. I packed up the minivan and buckled the kids into their seats.

Once we got to the beach, I set up our blankets. I don't bring food with me because they always get covered in sand. My friend Leslie lives up the road so I usually call her to meet up with us then we go get some food.

I watch the twins run towards the water and build castles. "New spot?" I heard a voice ask. "Yeah, sorry." "I looked all over the beach for you!" Leslie sat down next to me. I looked at her. "Josh has been acting weird lately." Me and Leslie have been friends since junior high, and I trust her with alot. "Maybe he's cheating." She answered me. Her thin blonde hair was blowing in her face. "What?" "When was the last time you had sex?" I looked at the sand. "7 months ago.." "He's cheating." "Leslie!" She gave me an apologetic look. "Well!"

I didn't want to believe her. I looked straight ahead and watched my children. I did a deep sigh and pulled out my phone and called Josh's work. "Hello." "Hi. Is Josh there? It's Kim." "Sorry Mrs.Anston, Josh isn't in today." "Oh, thanks.."

"What?" Leslie asked. "Josh isn't at work.."
