The will gives us the money and Kai's position as CEO of Lagoon. As for you, just marriage. But isn't that what you want?" Axel, Kai's grandpa, said looking down.
"No I don't want a marriage. I want a life where I don't have to do anything according to anyone. A life with freedom and free will."
It was useless talking to them. I gave up. How hard would the marriage be? There would be maids and all that and I'm pretty sure Kai won't have sex with me since he hates me. It's not that bad.
I came with a conclusion. "Fine I'll marry. Just leave me alone right now."
Axel nodded and led me the way to my temporary room. I took a shower, dressed up, put on makeup and slept.
Kai came in the room and I was faking my sleep.
He observed my face for a while but I was good at acting. He sat on the bed close to me and I felt a weird vibe. Kai pushed away the hair from my eyes and I almost felt his lips on my face. But he sighed and it seemed like he was...sad? Whatever he beat up a person, that's not okay.
"You done?" I questioned him and he looked shocked. All he did was storm out of the room.

A week passed and it was time for marriage. Kai's parents and his whole family came. And as for mine...nobody. It's ok. It's whatever. I try to calm myself while looking at my body in the white lacy but pretty dress. It was too good on my cheap dirty body.

After the vows and dancing, went out to our honeymoon, which was in Las Vegas. From New York to Nevada, how fun. I zoned out 90% of the wedding because I didn't like it. I don't like Kai and he does this to me too.
I shook my head while I sit down on my seat in the airplane. It was my first time in the airplane so I was feeling anxious. Kai was laughing at me while he sat next to me, making sure he put in his headphones to block me out. Like he's the only one, and so I put in my earbuds and started jamming to music. I noticed Kai giving me glances but he chose to stay quiet. Good. When I took off the blanket off my lap, he put his hand on my thighs. I was wearing short shorts because he had ordered me to do so but it was getting hot.
"Kai stop." I pleaded but I had to do whatever he wanted me to. That was the rules. Or he would make sure my family's name would get ruined. I had one sister and she was always mad that I ruined everything for her. I couldn't do that to her...she was the only person who shared the same blood with me that was alive.
His hands went up and he pushed aside my shorts while I was about to yell. I hated getting touched, especially down there.
"Kai please."
"Shut it."
"Kai." He stopped me.
"Ma'am this woman next to me smells, please tell her to change." He yelled to the workers and they told me to change. Everyone looked at me and it was so embarrassing. It would be stupid if I said I hated him because I despised him. I hated every one of his cells.
