I head down to the airlock chamber where I equip my "foreign protection and containment suit"A.K.A FPCsuit. It takes about two minutes to get on with all the pieces of equipment. I say "activate" and the screen automatically turns on allowing me to see my vitals and the amount of air left in my suit.
Once everyone except Michael(who's staying to monitor everything) is in their suits we activate the air lock doors and then open the ships doors. As soon as they open a huge gust of wind knocks me and Olivia down. I get up a bit aggravated and walk out the door.
I look around at the planet. Reddish kinda brownish soil,dark grayish sky(I believe this because it is night time) and it's most prominent features are the red jagged rocks emerging in random places all around us. Derrick who is a huge geek says"my god....this is amazing! This soil is broken down Augite!" In my mind I have no idea what he's taking about so I just reply with a "Mmm hmm" just as I finish my sentence Michael calls in telling us the approximate location of any plant life and we head in that direction. After an hour or two we stumble across a puddle of what seems to be water except a slight shimmer to it. Everyone starts getting all exited but I don't. Instead I get down on my knees and look closely and see it. A small bunch if small clover like plants together. I scream "I found it!!!!!" And well,everyone geeks out even more. I take the plant out of the water and place it in a glass container I also fill it up with the water. Then we head back to the ship to show Michael our brand new discoveries.
