Eclipse of the Moon

I’m dazzling along the twinkling obscure heavens,

Yearning that you don’t perceive my darkest side,

That I will soon begin to mask the fiery sun throughout day light,

And whenever I surmount the skies on the bleakest night.

My own illumination is just a mere reflection,

The time will come when I’ll once again cover the sun,

Over ancient generations of waiting in such redemption,

You’ll see the darkness of how vain I’ll become.

I won’t regret what will become of me,

Because it’s my genuine destiny,

But I’m afraid of what you’ll perceive when it’s soon reality,

Would you divulge on how depraved or how beautiful I am?

After ancient times of waiting,

The time disembarks with me walking on my fate,

You’re the only one in my eyes even though everyone is watching,

Thus, fear covers me with consciousness if all you feel is hate.

I’m masking the blissful sun,

The light that guides you in each days that are new,

So how can’t you not be angry and wish that I’ll be gone,

I can take it when everyone dislikes me as long as it’s not you.

You stare at me up in the sky,

At last the hope that sparks within my heart ignites,

When your bright personality smiles at me,

Leaving an emblem of inspiration that I’ll be longing forever in thee.
