Part Two: For Each Other

Tori had decided to drive to school, mainly due to the absolute wreck Jade was today. This isn't the wreck that can be classified as emotional, or mental, or anything like that. Jade herself was just an absolute mess, and neither one of them knew why. So, back on topic, Tori was driving! Yay! Tori was a really good driver, especially in the morning. She was what people called a 'morning person', the exact opposite of Jade who would most likely shoot somebody if they made her wake up earlier than she wanted to.

"I'm telling you, Jade. You need to start bringing extra clothes to my house when you want to spend the night," Tori sighed as she turned on her blinker, turning left to get to a main road.

Jade let out a huff and leaned against the passenger-side door, frowning to herself. "Maybe I should just give you a suitcase full of my clothes, and then I won't have to wear anything when I come to your house!"

"As funny as that would be, my sister, parents, and neighbors would not find it amusing to see you ass-naked on the porch," Tori said, shooting a small glare to Jade.

"You're right. I'd get cold," Jade said, completely ignoring whatever logic Tori was bringing into the conversation.

"Jade, I'm serious. You really need to start being a little more conscious of how you show up at and leave my house. You're gonna get me-or both of us-in trouble!"

"I know, I know. It's just... annoying having to hide like this. How long until Trina finds out that I've been spendingw nights at your house?"

"Oh, god forbid that happens! She'll just assume we have sex and just tell the entire school," Tori huffed out that last sentence. She knew that Jade wasn't only coming to her house for the relationship. It was Tori's house because of their relationship, but the reason she was out at all was something only the duo knew. It would stay something only the duo knew until it came out forcefully, or one of them accidentally slipped.

"Well, you're saying that like we don't have sex," Jade piped in, crossing one leg over the other as the car's blinker came on again, and Tori pulled onto a side road that led right to their school.

"I'm not an idiot, Jade. I know we have sex, but Trina would blow it out of proportion. You know that," Tori said with a small chuckle, rubbing a hand that wasn't preoccupied with the steering wheel through her own hair. "Worst case scenario is she finds out what's going on, and decides to post that on whatever social media she has..."

Jade sighed and took Tori's hand, kissing the back of the knuckles and smiling gently. "Don't worry about your sister. If anything, I can just scare her into silence," the teen grinned up at her girlfriend, earning a laugh in reply.

"You 'scaring her into silence' includes you throwing a pair of scissors at her. I know you, babe," Tori laughed, but held onto Jade's hand anyway. "Thank you, though. It's nice knowing you're here for me," she said, squeezing Jade's hand as she pulled into the school parking lot.

Jade nodded and sat up, moving to take off her seatbelt before they even parked. "Well, you're here for me. I'd be a pretty bad girlfriend if I wasn't there for you," she said, winking at Tori slyly and opening her car door just as Tori finally parked.
