Chapter 1. What caused this dumb situation. 🚫Gore warning!!!🚫

Dan's POV.

As me, Hosuh, Stephen, Jay, Jo, and Marlene were walking to the store to get food for the apartment, (In this, they all live together as one big, hecktick, family) I saw a man in the corner of my eye in an alleyway. I stopped and looked at him. As the others walked ahead of me, I stared at him. "E-Excuse me sir? are you ok?" I asked him. He looked up at me and then looked away.  Stephen probably noticed I wasn't walking with them, cause I heard him call out my name. "yo Dan?" I heard him say. I then felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked behind me and it was Stephen. "Hey, what are you doing?" He asked me, as I saw the other 4 behind him. I looked back in front of me and the man was gone. I looked back behind me and I couldn't believe what I saw. 5 bodies. 4 of them men. 3 bloody as hell. 2 look freshly killed. And one man glaring at me. I tried stepping back, but before I knew it, I was backed into a wall with the man still staring at me. Them, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I looked down and there was a knife in my stomach. I watched as guided the knife up all the way up to my neck. He stopped there. He took it out and then stabbed it in my head.....is what it looked like. 

Right before I felt him stab it in my head, before I knew it, My eyes jolted open and I was with my friends as they surrounded me. "Guy's, he woke up!!" I saw Hosuh say. Stephen, Jo, Marlene, and Jay all looked at me. "Wh...Where are we? and I-I thought you guys were dead!" I said, genuinely confused at what was happening, and why I'm talking to my friend WHO I THOUGHT WHERE DEAD. Hosuh shrugged. "I don't think I can answer either of those questions.

"Uh....Guy's...?" I heard Marlene ask. I tried answering her but I got lost in thought, and I am assuming the others did to, because they weren't responding. "Guy's...!' I heard her again, but this time more faint. "Guy's!!" she yelled. I snapped out of it and it seemed like the others did too cause now all eyes were on her. She just pointed down. I looked down and saw that the ground we're on started crumbling and falling off! And as we looked around, most of it was gone. we all huddled in on little circle. but that couldn't keep us up, as it started to break. And then sooner or later, the last piece broke off and we were all falling. But then we stopped and fell on a road. It didn't seem to hurt, though. It just felt like landing on a pillow.

I looked around us. "where are we..?" I said as I stood up. I got off the road and so did the others. I looked around. "This doesn't look like Canada...." I heard Marlene say. "Or any place we know.." Hosuh finished. I looked at the other 5. "Maybe we should split up? Y'know, to cover more ground?" I asked. Surprisingly, they agreed. but they said they wanted to split into groups of 2, So we did. I went with Jo, Marlene went with Jay, and Hosuh went with Stephen.
