I reached school an hour late,but can you really blame me? I had to spend more time covering up my additional beauty that is; bruises that my dearest brother gifted me yesterday.
I made it to the admissions office to be registered for my fourth and final year of high school. After registering I made it to class where all the seniors were. I did not need my timetable since it was at the notice board and I've had the same classes since second form because that's the time we choose our subjects that we'll do till end of senior year examinations.
The Principal finished her speech of welcoming us back to school and our teachers read us the timetable.One thing about this school is, you have to be really smart to get in. The bell rung for us to go to our first lesson of the day which was swahili with Ms.Rose.
I got up suddenly from my seat and immediately winced, how can I forget my ribs burn like hell.I made it to the back of the class and sat down at my assigned seat next to my deskmate Paige;She was a really nice person although she talks alot,and that's saying something because she has been my deskmate for the past two years not to mention one of the most popular people in school,its a good thing my school doesn't tolerate bullying but it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
The rest of morning lessons ended quickly. I'm glad we don't shift classes unless it's for optional subjects which are held in different classes.If I were to have a friend it would be Paige but oh well! can't have them know what I go through.
The rest of the day was uneventful soon the day was over and I was making my way to the bus stop to go home. Yes if you noticed I was alone no friends nada!although sometimes wish I had.I don't talk not that I can't, I stutter alot so I just kept quiet.
After the bullying in primary school I chose not to. Plus I don't know what he will do to me if he finds out I'm talking to anyone especially a girl 'you whore' 'is that you girlfriend' 'you disgust me' the beating that will follow soon after, I get goosebumps just thinking about it. I was so deep in my thoughts that I almost got run over by a car. HONK!!!
