The Flotsam, the eldest eel swam to the grotto Ariel was in. "Ariel, Ariel! It's me Flotsam, where are you? Ariel!" Said Flotsam. Flotsam had just found Ariel's body floating in the cold water. Ariel's green tail had just been restored and Flotsam pulled Ariel into Ursula's cave. "My poor baby! Why did I have to curse her? Why was I foolish! Why did I do this to her! It's all my fault!" Ursula cried. Hermit came to her sad daughter and said "She will live, but you must take the soul of another." Ursula said the name Jonathan twice and Ariel was able to breath. Ariel told Ursula that Prince Eric's father, Jonathan put something inside of her. She said it was a knife and that she drowned into the red water. Ursula said that she cannot go back to the surface because they will try to kill her again. "AAAAAAAH!" Screamed a mermaid. It was an underwater discoverer with a spear. He shot a hole through an Orca, Ursula felt a trembling feeling in her. She gathered 20 merpeople in her cave and Hermia cast a protection spell on the cave. The merpeople were excited to see Hermia and then they panicked as they saw the discoverer. Ursula swam out of the cave, she felt like she was growing larger and larger. As she grew 100 feet tall, the puny sea discoverer died from the shock. Ursula had saved the merpeople, but was still cast as a villain.
