Chapter 3

Authors Note: Hello again. This chapter/section is really short, I know. I'm spending time editing and changing parts, that's why my posting is slow. Anyway, I thought it was time I posted again, so here it is. ^^

The sound of the school bell rang and Kagami sighed, "There's the bell. Better get going to homeroom!" Kagami then started walking away.

Izaya sweated, "Okay, but where's my homeroom?"

"Go back to the office. Okabe-sensei is waiting for you there!" Kagami yelled as she disappeared into the crowd of students that arrived when the bell rang.

Izaya walked back to the office and found Okabe standing by her desk talking to another student. The student seemed to be around the same age as Izaya. He had a few piercings and light brown hair.

"Oh! Orihara, you're here," Okabe declared when she noticed him. She stepped away from the student she was speaking to earlier and completely put him aside, "Let's go now."

Izaya nodded and followed his homeroom teacher as she exited the office. He couldn't help but give a small glance at the student that was left standing with an irritated expression, scowling at the floor with their hands balled into fists.

After Okabe escorted him to his homeroom, Izaya stood in front of the classroom, "Good morning, class," Okabe greeted.

All the students bowed and greeted back, then sat down. "We have a new student today," Okabe announced. She turned to Izaya, "Would you introduce yourself?"

Izaya wrote his name on the board then faced his classmates, "My name is Orihara Izaya, I hope we can all be friends." He bowed as he spoke.

"Okay, you'll be sitting over here," Okabe said and gestured to an empty seat by a window. Izaya sat down and gazed at his surroundings. A desk behind his, which was part of the last row, was empty.
