Behind Steel Bars

CHAPTER 1- Pilot

Evan-
I walk into work, prompt as usual. Today we have a big meeting and my boss told me to get here on time. Not that he has to tell me, I'm always early.
I enter the meeting room and notice that all my superiors are sitting at the table.
"See this is what I'm saying! He's always early!"   My good friend Tyler exclaims. I met Tyler about two years ago when I was first assigned to the Los Santos Police Department. He's been my partner for quite some time now.
I notice the chief nod his head in thought.
I sit down next to Tyler and the chief begins  talking.
"I brought you all in today because Evan Fong is being promoted to Lieutenant!" My jaw drops. I'm being promoted? Tyler smiles at me and slaps me on the back.
"That's not even the best part." He whispers to me.

"Lt. Fong, your new assignment is highly classified. Most of the work for lining this guy up is finished. All you have to do is get this guy in custody. Understand?"
"Yes sir! Who am I taking down?" I ask enthusiastically.
"He's very high profile. This will be the first of your missions where it will be in the news for some time. I notice he's beating around the bush a lot. "You're success to fail ratio shows that you are the most qualified for this specific case."
"Who is it?" I demand.  The chief grins at me.
"Jonathan Denis."

Jonathan-
"Cartoonz! Are we ready for tonight?" I ask as I look over the blueprints of the building.
"Yes Delirious. We have everything ready. The guns are loaded, the bank's system is already compromised. All we need now is nightfall."
I light the cigarette in my hand and take a hit.
I press a button on my desk and my voice fills the intercom.

"Ohm, terrorizer, Squirrel, and Gorilla report to my office immediately." I hang up the intercom and less than a minute later they are all in the room. They know not to be late.
They all sit at the long table in the connecting room that can only be accessed through my office. I enter and grab some ear buds. I toss them on the table.

"Squirrel, how's the system holding?"
"It's holding up as expected. Once I gain full control we will have about 7 minutes to get in and get out before the cops get there." I nod.
Everyone grabs an ear bud, including myself.
"Terrorizer, you'll be on the building opposite of the bank. It's the best vantage point for sniping."
"Yes sir." He nods. Ever since I've become the top dog, I've trusted him to take over my spot as the hit man. So far he's done well, but still needs help sometimes. I move on.

"Gorilla, Ohm, you're with me. Now let's get the van ready." I command and stand up, hence ending the meeting. 
I grin at my success. Tonight is going to be great.

((Time skip))

We arrive at the bank at precisely 10:42 pm. The bank closes at 11pm. We specifically chose this time so that there's be less people to get in our way, but just enough to get into the safe.

"Alright hawk eye how's it look up there?"
"You'll be clear in three... two... one..."
I jump out of the van and enter the building. There's only one person manning the front desk. Perfect. I slip on my mask.
"Thank you for choosing bank of A- ah...." she freezes when she looks up at me.
"Mind taking me back to the safe?" I ask her with a calm voice. I notice her hand go under the desk and I pull a gun.  "Before you do anything that will get you shot, the alarm system is offline. Now, the safe." She nods and gets up quickly. I follow her into the back.

Terrorizer-
3...2...1... all clear." I watch as they get out of the van. Now I just have to watch for any cops once the alarm goes off. In five minutes the alarm will go off due to the anomaly that Squirrel made. It will take about three minutes for the cops to get there. I hear a cough behind me. I quickly turn around and train my gun on the person.
"Game over. Sorry Brian." My brother is standing at the end of my fucking barrel. Fuck.
