Chapter Four

~The Day Of The Bands Performance~

{3rd person POV}

'Akaashi- calm down... I-it's not even a b-big crowd!' Yachi panicked, looking through the curtain for the millionth time

'I've s-seen the crowd Yaichi-san...' Akaashi replied, drinking his water quickly

'This isn't about the number of people... is it..' Yachi sighed, taking a seat in the chair next to him 'I'm sure they'll come- Kuroo'll drag them along!'

'I-i don't know... Kuroo isn't exactly.. dependable.' Akaashi put his water bottle on the side table and stood up

'Keiji, Hitoka- c'mon we're on in a few minutes' Iwaizumi said walking in 'Also someone wanted to personally wish you luck s-' He got cut off by a tall owl running in

'AKAAASJIIIIIIIII' Bokuto yelled, hugging him

'I- i thought you wouldn't come..'

'Of course i would! It's your guys's first performance in front of a crowd!!!' He yelled, taking a step back 'Kenma ended up dragging Kuroo out of his house- that's why we were almost late so-' Bokuto was cut off by an announcement 

"ATTENTION EVERYONE!! Welcome to Fukurou no koibito high school's band club's performance!" The speaker continued while the band members started getting their equipment.

'Good Luck Akkaaashji!!' Bokuto smiled, walking out of the room

'God- why is he so cute... dammit! You promised this wouldn't happen again! god dammit- Now all you gotta do is hope that it doesn't turn out like that again..." Akaashi thought

'Keiji?' A voice spoke

'Hm?' Akaashi turned around to face Ushijima

'Do you have a fever?' he asked

'W-what? No-' Akaashi replied

'PFFFTTT' Tendou spat out his SOLO 

'What's so funny?' Yachi asked, skipping into the room with her flute, Tendou sprinted over to her and whispered something in her ear 

'I- that's true-' Yachi covered her mouth, trying not to laugh

'I don't understand Satori-' Ushijima stated

"PLEASE WELCOME THEM ON STAGE NOW!" The announcement finished

The members scattered onto the stage.

Akaashi was supposed to start but when he faced the crowd he froze. That was until he met eyes with Bokuto, seeing his bright smile and his cringy thumbs up- it made him.. feel like he wasn't in front of a big crowd- it was just them, hanging out.

~ After The Performance ~

'THAT WAS AMAZING!!!' Bokuto yelled running up and hugging Akaashi

'T-thanks Bokuto-san'

'It was cool' Kuroo added, yawning 'wAIT- Is that Oikawa and Iwaizumi-' He asked turning around fully, facing one side of the room where Oikawa and Iwaizumi were standing

Iwaizumi noticed Kuroo staring and made his way over to the group with Oikawa

'Hey guys! Keiji you did well starting off today' He mentioned

'You guys did pretty good, oh- congrats by the way' Kenma said, leaning on Kuroo's shoulder

'Thanks Kenma' Oikawa replied, grabbing Iwaizumi's hand
