'I had a dream the other night
Bout how we only get one life'

How funny. Not everyday do the people hear this.

In all honesty, _y/n_ didn't believe this.

The idea was really simple.

Every person is reborn. It's a never ending cycle of life for every person here.

Which is why as she stares at the back of the blunettes hair, she gets this feeling of déjà vu.

Ciel Phantomhive was the newest student at Anima Academy, and he was quite popular amongst the girls.

But really, pretty much every boy here was. So it was no surprise.

According to one of her closest friends, Maka Albarn, Ciel had taken quite a liking to _y/n_.

Such a liking to even ask her to be his partner for the upcoming project.

Of course, _y/n_ didn't believe one bit of it. She considered herself to be too plain for anyone at her school.

"_y/n_," a young voice called, startling the girl out of her thoughts.

_y/n_ turned around only to find Ciel and what was assumed to be his closest friend, Sebastian beside him.

"Hello, Ciel. What brings you to come all this way to talk to me?"

Ciels face goes slightly red and he looks to the side.

"I was just wondering if you would like to work on the art project with me."

The girl gives a heartless chuckle.

"A bit out of character for you to be getting flustered," she teases.

"Just shut up and tell me if you'll take my offer or not."

_y/n_ laughs and nods.

"Of course. Might as well do something useful with my time."

~~~
That afternoon, _y/n_ pulls into the Phantomhive driveway, jaw dropped in shock.
'He never told me he owned a manor,' she thought.
She stepped out of her black camero and checked her phone.
12:45
She sighed and made her way to the door, only for it to open before she got the chance to knock.
There stood Sebastian, a small smile on his face as usual.
"Greetings, _y/n_. The young master is in his study. I assume you're here to work on the project?" He asks.
_y/n_ nods and steps into the house.
Beautiful decor surrounds her, and she suddenly feels a wave of familiarity wash over her.
"Would you like me to lead you to his study?"
_y/n_ shakes her head and makes her way up the stairs and goes down the halls.
Coming upon the grand doors of the third room at the end of the hall, she knocks and hears a muffled "come in."
Opening the door, she sees Ciel sitting at his desk, hair tousled as if he had been in here for hours.
"_y/n_. What brings you here?"
The girl smiles and sits in a chair in front of his desk.
"We were supposed to work on that project today. Don't you remember?" She replies, running her hands down her legs as if she were smoothing out a dress.
He nods and covers his face with his hands, sighing.
~~~

After working on the giant canvas for two hours, _y/n_ and Ciel find themselves staring into space while having tea.

"Have you ever felt like you've already lived in a certain moment?" _y/n_ asks, breaking the silence between the two.

Ciel looks at her and says, "yes. All the time, actually. Why do you ask such a question?"

She shrugs and brings the cup to her lips, taking a small sip.

"Today that's all I've felt. Pulling into the driveway and entering your estate, it all seemed so familiar."

Ciel sighs and puts his hand on top of yours, looking at you intently.

"So it's not just me. Ever since I saw you, I've had this feeling that I know you," his tone of voice matched his expression, relief.

"Do you believe we only live once?"

_y/n_ shakes her head and smiles.

"I've never once believed that. Now I know for certain."

'If we only live once,
I wanna live with you.'

A/N: Woop. I updated. Yay.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

I'm thankful for all of you. Every reader, every vote, comment and view. You have no idea how thankful I am for it all.

Anima Academy is hopefully going to be something I plan on writing about soon. The foreshadowing is so strong right now. XD

So update with me. I've actually been sick for quite some time now, which has been holding me back when it comes to creativity and writing opportunities.

I'm sorry for the quality of this one-shot. There truly is no excuse for that.

And this was inspired by the song "Something I Need" by One Republic (I'm going to feel like a failure if I got the artist wrong)

You all know the drill! Requests, comments and all of that good stuff come right here ----------->
and I wish you all a wonderful day.

DONT FORGET TO STUFF YOUR FACES AND BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE, KAY!?
