1: The Peace the Evening Brings

                          ~Asv Wei. 2 months later. 02{36}; Gem Clock.~

Journal of Lars Barriga; Captain of the Off Colors and the Sun Incinerator prototype ship;

Having arrived at a Jurassic part of a newly developed planet that used to be once a White Diamond colony. Many dinosaurs that looked similar to Earth's former and extinct dinosaurs, yet they were not Earth Dinosaurs. I almost got eaten twice during this stay.

The reason we came to Asv Wei was due to signals of what the Rutile Twins found that seemed to be Gem frequency that isn't like what most Gems have including the Diamonds. This was rather curious as Padparadscha stated after the report so we decided to got there to investigate. It wasn't peaceful than actually expected as we suddenly got caught in a running spree with a herd of look-likes of Gallimimus' running from one predator; an albino Tyrannosaurus rex which ate a few it managed to catch while we hid behind a fallen old tree.  

"How...Is...This...Poss...Ible?" Fluorite asked gazing at the T-Rex and Gallimimus' that were leaving the area we were in "This...Was...A...Gem...Colo...Ny...And...Yet..." "I guess the Colony couldn't put out the spark of life for that long." I considered quickly which got their interests, just as silence from where we had to from began to form "Seems well enough considering the condition of this Colony" "That would explain why this Colony didn't look like one" The Rutile Twins chimed in while getting a look at the scene behind this tree "Why would one of White Diamond's least used Colony have existing life after thousands of years?" Padparadscha asked. 

 The idea of this Colony bearing dinosaurs got me thinking about the other colonies. Would bacteria come around to the other Colonies that had this many years of being that way? What kind of creatures would come to life and attack other Gems? What would Steven and the others think when I tell them this? My thoughts soon were forced out of context for the time being when  my ears heard something from afar. I looked around and noticed something east of the tree we were hiding in; a pack of blue skinned Velociraptors that possibly were ready to hunt.

"RUN!" I bellowed out making a break for anywhere except for what's behind me. We all ran away from the coming raptor pack, but I couldn't seem to keep up with the others so I ran a different direction without thinking about it in the first thought. Then with just my feet guiding me, I hid behind a tree and tried to hold my breathe so I wouldn't make a sound. The movements of the raptors were becoming far away from me meaning they stopped following me now. 

Then I noticed what was in front of me. A lake scenery with moss and trees around the lake which looked fresh and possible to get some hydration, but I also noticed something on top of the lake like a black dot or something.

I stepped away from my hiding place to see the bigger picture of what was at this beautiful scenery, then I find that it was not a what, but a who and she was looking right at me.

A teenage girl that seems to be around my height. Her light oak and bleach white horizontal streak hair was long and close to her chest as if she never had time to cut it off. The pupils of her eyes were slightly slitted as if they were from a snake. She didn't seemed to have much clothes on as there was moss and dirt covering most of her body. 

The other thing worth noticing is that there was a horn on her forehead like she was a unicorn in Human form, but the horn didn't look much of a horn at all, it was crystal like as if it was a gem. 

"Hello" I began to say, but the moment the words left my mouth, the girl drew back from the stump she was on sitting on and landed in the water. Luckily, she managed to reach the surface, but was splashing around indicating she doesn't know how to swim. So I ran and helped her which was pulling her out of the water. Just as she was able to get on to the grass, I remembered she doesn't have any clothes on, and such I wrapped my coat around her feeling the fact that she is shivering due to being in the cold water for a short span of time.
