After waving Steven off, you turned to unlock the door to your cozy oceanside home. Closing it behind you, you noticed that Jasper was still in the same place she was before, except she had dragged your bean bag chair over in front of the TV and was now lounging on it comfortably. You smiled to yourself. I see she's figured out how to use that too, despite never seeing me use it. You sighed, hanging your keys on the hook by the door. The jingling sound seemed to catch Jasper's attention as she turned around to look at you. "Back so soon, human?" You nodded.
"Yeah, but I might be going back out later. Whatcha watching?" you asked as you stood behind the couch, crossing your arms. Jasper shrugged, turning back to the screen.
"It seems to be some kind of...informational show? I have been watching it for a while. These beings...I like them." Your eyes widened slightly at her use of words. She just admitted that she liked something! Huh...this could be easier than I thought. You glanced at the television screen, seeing that what Jasper was watching was, in fact, an informational show. It was a documentary on tigers and their survival in the wild, their interactions with humans in captivity or tamed. You had seen the program before, so you decided to leave her to it while you went to take a shower. Jasper was too busy watching the show that she didn't even realize you had left the living room. You pushed your room door open, walking over to your drawers to get something comfortable to wear. Pulling out a pair of grey shorts and an oversized (f/c) hoodie, you tossed the items onto your bed. You then pushed your room door closed, not bothering to lock it since Jasper most likely wouldn't come up the stairs. You undressed, throwing your sweaty workout clothes and undergarments into the hamper.
"Hm, laundry needs to be done. I think I'll clean the house today too...maybe I could get CJ to help." You walked into the bathroom, turning on the showerhead before stepping in once the water reached a comfortable temperature. As you washed your (s/c-t) body, you thought about what you should clean first. Maybe I should do upstairs first and then make my way downstairs. Sounds like a plan.
Your shower was quick, no more than fifteen minutes. You dried yourself, taking dirty towels with you as you walked back into your room. You put the towels in the hamper, closing the lid. You dressed, pushed the sleeves up on your hoodie, and tied your hair back. You started in your room, taking the sheets off your bed and throwing them into the hamper with everything else. You sprayed the mattress, replacing the dirty sheets with clean ones from your closet. Next, you rearranged messy clothes and shoes in your closet, putting on a pair of your favorite sandals. Closing your closet doors, you turned to look at your now clean room. There wasn't any clutter on your dresser and nightstand, so you decided to let those be. You then walked out of your room, making your way downstairs for the broom, mop, and vacuum cleaner. You brought the appliances back upstairs, setting them on the floor in your room. You cleaned the shower, sink, and toilet, scrubbing the porcelain surfaces until they sparkled. You then swept the tiled floor, moping after, and leaving it to dry as you plugged in the vacuum, pushing it across your carpeted bedroom floor. You could have sworn while you were vacuuming that you heard Jasper let out a startled curse, but you shrugged it off.
