Jade pov

After failed to call Perrie back, I close the door. I hate to see her like that, I didn't mean break her heart but Liam was there when I need her the most. I will admit that I kind of use Liam to help get over her, but he is sweet and caring. If I wasn't in love with her, I wouldn't mind dating him. And even worse, when he proposed to me, the first thing that came up in my mind is Perrie
But I never thought Perrie will come back so I said yes. But now that she came back my mind is a mess

"You don't think she is upset about us being together right? Liam's voice cut of the breakdown I was having in my mind

Of course she is upset "um I don't know"

I thought I move on but now I'm pulled back to what I've left behind

I hate how after all these years, she had to come back and look as beautiful as she was before. She definitely looks more nature, her blonde hair still looks as flawless as ever. Those blue eyes are still the same as 5 years ago, still haunting me like it was yesterday

I shouldn't be thinking about her like this

The next day

I woke up as usual, change my clothes and saw Liam already cooking us breakfast. He could be the one, but now I just feel guilty

"Good morning love" He said and give me a peck on lips

"I need to go to work a bit early, there's someone new coming to the company"

"Okay cool, then you better hurry up and eat your breakfast" he said

*Skip car ride*

When I arrived, there's already voices chit chatting about the new boss.

"Hi Harry" I said, yes Harry styles, the one who wants to court me back when we are in high school. He ends up being with Louis, the typical bad boy in the school next to us. Never would I thought there's a day where Harry styles becomes such a baby.

"Heyy. Did you saw the new boss arriving?" He asked

"Nope, why are you so excited about it?"

"Because I've heard that she is so hot" another voice chime in

"Stop being so thirsty Stephanie" I said

"My friend's friend who live in America whose friend works in there told me that the new boss is a player back in college. And she never dates people after a very big heartbreak. All she does is one night stand"

I settled down while they are still gossiping about the new boss. Still don't understand their obsession, all I hope is that work can help me forget about the Perrie mess for a while.

"Everyone silent and listen, here's our new boss" our manager said
I look up and see and I immediately drop my jaw once I saw the person walk in.

"Perrie Edwards" everyone claps and welcome her arrival, both of our eyes widen when we saw eachother. But she went back to look strict and all that.

When she walked in, she is fill with dominance, power. Her suit and glasses just makes her tens time better

I COME TO WORK TO ESCAPE FROM HER AND NOW WE WORK IN THE BLOODY SAME PLACE, I swear to god, the world hate me

I don't really pay attention to what she is saying when I'm having a near panic attack inside my mind and kind of got distracted staring at her

I snapped back to reality when I heard Stephanie said "she really is so hot"

A pang of jealousy ran through me when I heard this wtf jade you have liam, you are over her

"Definitely daddy material" Harry said dreamily

"Harold you have Louis stop dreaming" I said trying to hide my bitter tone

I stood up and go to pour myself a cup of coffee and try to clear my mind. Until a bump into somebody and stumbled backward. Just when I was bracing myself for hitting the cold floor, somone grab my waist and steady me.

And yes, she is Perrie. How unfortunate that I keep on escaping from her and her keeps coming back. After a few more sec, I realized we are still in the same position. Both of us clear our throats and back off a bit. I blushed and I hate how she still has the effect on me.

"Are you alright?" She asked

I nodded and said "didn't know you are working here" trying to change the topic and not to get too awkward

"Uh yes... Didn't know you work here too"

Yup, this is getting awkward

"Um I should go back to my office, maybe we can catch up after work?" She said

"Sure, I meet you in your office after work, maybe?"

"Okay, also be careful. Not every time there will be someone save you from falling" she added while walking out, and her hand brush passed my waist.

I nodded again, trying my best to hide my blush and even with my blouse. I felt the goosebumps where her hands touches my waist.
