Kaoru & Yukio were in Mephisto's office, True Cross Academy's Principal to get the answers to their questions. They were too curious about Yuri because like the demon said it, he didn't tell them everything.
« Please Sir, tell us everything you know about Nii Yuri, she definitely hides something and you know it. Kaoru said. What she did earlier isn't human, am I wrong ? »
Yuri ? A demon ?
Kaoru told Yukio about what happened with her earlier, and like him, Yukio felt that something was suspicious. So they couldn't put away the possibility of her being related to a demon.
« Well you're not totally wrong but I can assure you that Yuri is human. Mephistos chuckled.
– Then how did she manage to knock this demon off ? Yukio asked. »
Seeing how persistant Yukio and Kaoru were, Mephistos didn't have any choice but to tell them the truth, at least a part of it.
He sighed.
« You may not know it but Yuri is from a clan, the Nii clan. They were mostly famous for their strong bond with cait sith. They were the only ones who kept venerate them when nobody would do it. He explained
– Were ? Yukio asked.
– Unfortunately for them, a demon slaughtered them ten years ago. He answered. And Yuri is the only survivor. »
That was strange nobody never talked about this m.
« I never knew about this event, and I'm sure that nobody does. Yukio slightly frowned his eyebrows.
– You're right Okumura. He chuckled. Let's say that it would have been a scandal if people get to learn about this.
– What do you mean ? Kaoru asked.
– That means that I cannot tell you more, the rest of the story is Yuri's private life. He said. So I cannot go further. »
After their little meeting finished, Yukio & Kaoru left Mephisto's office and went back to their activities.
Yukio sighed.
Now that he knew a little bit more, more things were confusing to him.
What Mephisto told them was certainly a small part of Yuri's whole background. Because after all, it still didn't explain why she possessed such a great strength.
Having see the wall where the demon crashed, proved that this was nothing human, and yet Mephisto assured them that she was one. And Yukio sensed that he wasn't lying.
