Auri And Lil

        When Auri was with Lil the world stopped. It was like they were frozen in time and could stay there forever. She loved her, with every fiber of her being. She had never felt this way about someone before. When they were together it was like Auri had become whole again. She gave all of herself to the girl she loved.

“What are you thinking about?” Lil asked her.

         “Just how lucky I am” Auri responded, “You’re perfect you know that?”

          “You’re too kind, Love. But I feel the same way. I am pretty perfect.” Lil smirked. That made them both laugh.                                                                                                                                                                                                                 “Just teasing. You’re the real perfection.” Lil leaned over and kissed Auri on the cheek. Auri shot up.

“Get up Lilac. We’re going on an adventure” Auri said.

“Where to?”

“It’s a surprise. Do you trust me?” Auri asked with a devilish grin.

“With all my heart. Although with that look I’ll probably be regretting it later.” Lil laughed. Auri took her hand and led her out the door to her car. They got in and Auri began to drive. Fast and far. Out of the city and into the wilderness. Lil rolled down her window and leaned out, taking in the fresh night air. She smiled and let out a little yelp. It was the most adorable thing Auri had heard in her life. She pulled the car into an expansive field and turned off the ignition. She leaned over and pulled Lil in for a passionate kiss. Lil pulled back after a moment.

“What was that for?” She inquired.

“I just love you so much." Auri smiled. "Now get out.”Lil obeyed and they both got out of the car. Auri took her hand and led her to the middle of the field. Auri wrapped her arms around the love of her life. Her eyes a striking blue that tore straight into her soul. Her hair the most amazing dirty blonde, almost brown at times. Auri loved every aspect of Lil. She couldn't ask for a more perfect girl. They began to sway.

“Babe, what exactly are we doing way out here?” Lilac asked.

“ I just want to dance with you under the stars. Is that not allowed?

“No it most definitely is. But we don’t have any music to dance to.”

“Don’t need any. Think of your favorite song, start to sway to the beat and I’ll follow your lead.” Auri said. Lil smiled up at her.

“Let me think.” Lil closed her eyes and searched for the perfect song. She slowly began to rock back and forth. Auri followed her motions. She leaned in close and kissed Lil every so softly. her soft lips tasted faintly of cinnamon. Auri’s favorite.

“Every day I fall more in love with you.” 

“And every day I continue to wonder why.” Lil smiled and kissed Auri again. More passionately this time. They kissed forever, their lips becoming one. Lil loved Auri with every fiber of her being. They were frozen in time and could stay there forever. When Lil was with Auri, her world stopped.
