Chapter 17

A baby's cry woke me from my sleep making me like Dick awake.

"It's your turn," I said tiredly. A second cry slightly higher meet my ears. "Fuck I guess we get to double team this one," I mumbled hopping out of my bed in our apartment. I padded to the cribs that sat on the far side of our large room. "Come here little guy," I said as I lifter Blake out of his crib. I watched as Dick is the same with Grace.

In minutes they were both pacified with changed diapers and full bellies.

"We make a good team," Dick said with a little smile as he placed Grace in her crib.

"Yes we do," sticking my free hand out he knuckle bumped me.

Laying back down I curled into his side placing my head in the crock of his shoulder and arm. Wrapping his body around mine I felt so safe, so happy.

"I love you," he whispered into my ear tickling it a little. Leaning my head up I placed my lips on his. Rolling me over so I was straddling his waist he pulled my lips down even harder. His tongue traced over my lip nibbling it slightly. Opening my lips a little I felt him trace the inside of my mouth. A soft sigh left my mouth as he traced his hands down my back. Pulling away abruptly when he placed it on my butt I sat up.

"We can't do this right now," I whispered suddenly glancing over at my sleeping twins. "It's weird,"

"Charlie their asleep, and you look so hot right now," leaning up he attached his lips to mine again. I gave in for a moment till I pulled away yet again.

"You have no self control!"

"but it's been a week! That's a long time!"

"Oh my god your such a baby," flipping us over so he was lying over me he tilted his head to the side mock glaring at me.

"I'm not being a baby," leanings over me be kissed up my neck. "God I want you," his whole body covered mine making me feel weak.

"Dick," I said breathlessly.

"Come on babe, all you have to do is be quiet," leaning up I kissed for the base of his neck to his ear. Biting it softly I pulled so I could whisper in his ear.

"Nice try but no," flipping I turned to my back was to him. He groaned before flipping so his back was to me grumbling to himself. Smiling with a laugh I drifted off to sleep.

"Dad stop hogging the children and let everyone else see them," I scolded Bruce as he held both Blake and Grace. He bat glared at everyone in the cave when every they looked like they might ask for one of them to hold.

"None of them have asked," he said nonchalantly.

"Because you scared them away," I said with a giggle. "Come on Wally and Artemis need a chance to hold their god son," I had named them Blake's god parents and graces were going to be Megan and Conner.

"I want to see Grace too!" Megan said happily flying in from the kitchen with Conner sauntering in behind her. He tried to play it off but he was wrapped around graces little finger just like all the boys here.

Bruce grumbled but gave them both to their separate god parents, but not before kissing them both on the forehead. I let out a little aw when I watched that.

"Oh daddy," walking over to him I plopped down and cuddled into his side.

"Well I guess it's ok sense I get to hold my little girl," he said softly to me making smile. "Even if your not so little,"

"You calling me fat old man?" I teased poking him with a smirk. A let out a little screech when he started to tickle me followed by some peels of laughter. After a minute of me being attacked he stopped letting me breath while he chuckled.

A cry across the room caught my attention making my head snap up, but before I could even go get Blake who was fussing in Wally's hands Dick was there. Taking Blake in one hand and smacking Wally in the back of the head with the other he bounced softly calming Blake.

"He's a natural," Bruce said with pride on his face. Smiling I tucked myself closer to Bruce with a smile.

"Hey Charlie!" Gar came in excitedly. "Can I hold my cousin!" He said practically shaking with excitement.

"Sure but I need you to sit down and wait for Dick to put him in your arms," Dick nervously placed his son in beast boys hands who sat with a big smile on his face. "Make sure to support his head," nodding he did just that. Taking my phone from my pocket I snapped a few pictures of them together. Dick plopped on the couch next to him watching him like a hawk.

"Babe calm down," I said reaching my hand out rubbing his back.

"But what if he drops him or maybe he could-"

"It's fine, it's so cute how your already so protective," I cooed teasingly at him.

"Hey I just want them to be safe!" He defended quickly. Shaking my head with a smile i got up. Finding Megan I took Grace from her.

"It's nap time for the baby's so Dick and I must be off," talking graces little hand I made it wave good bye.

Going through the zeta tub with Dick following behind with Blake we walked into our apartment. Placing them in the cribs we shut the door softly. The apartment wasn't to big so we would hear when one woke up. Padding to the kitchen I reached into one of the cabinets for a snack. Before my hand could fully get anything I was turned and lifted onto the counter.

"I think I've waited long enough," with those words Dicks mouth covered mine in a scorching kiss. There was no stopping him now, but I wasn't planning on it.
