"SleekThorn! Help!" SleekThorn turned away from LionStrike, looking to see where the voice had come from. LillyFoot was clutching fearfully onto a small branch attached to the one they were on, as it shook rapidly. Distracted, he left LionStrike standing on the branch and helped to nudge her back onto the bigger limb, just in time for the smaller one she was hanging onto to snap off and fall towards the ground. "Now go! Down the tree!" SleekThorn yowled to her. "Hurry!" LionStrike padded closer slowly, SleekThorn's tail bushed in fear. "D-don't touch her!" he yelped. LionStrike gave him and unimpressed glare before raising up one paw. Before SleekThorn could really focus on everything that was happening, he had striked. SleekThorn closed his eyes, only to feel no pain, but hear LillyFoot screaming. Her screams got quieter and quieter, driven out by the sound of the fight. He opened his eyes, and, LiklyFoot was gone. The branch was shaking. LionStrike sighed angerly, beginning to climb down the tree. "You-" SleekThorn began, overcome with disbelief. He turned his head around. "Wanna be next?!" In fear, SleekThorn quickly shook his head, and LionStrike continued climbing down. SleekThorn didn't follow. He stood there, injuries aching, staring down at the battle of cats. The battle was coming to an end. Before long, SpottedStar was in the center of the cats, declaring that ShadowClan had won. SleekThorn slowly climbed down, without saying a word. He padded towards where cats were beginning to leave. In the middle of it all, a pale, limp bunch of fur. SleekThorn let out a distressed yowl, and stuck his muzzle in his former mate's fur. He sat there for a long time. Eventually RedTree had to carry him away from ThunderClan territory. A part of him blamed himself. He could've protected her better. However, he wanted revenge. He needed revenge. I will get revenge on ThunderClan.
