Love Never Dies
Dara's POV
It's been a very stressful week so far. Castings after castings. Photoshoots after photoshoots. Things just can't get any stressful than this.
We just arrived back to the hotel. And so far, Anika, Lilac and Jessie are all sprawled on all the three couches.
"I'm tired!" Lilac whined.
"You're not the only one." Jessie agreed. "Anika?" she asked when she notice Anika not saying anything. "You okay?"
"Yeah!" she replied in a bored and tired manner.
"You sure?" I asked. "You don't seem to good?"
"Of course I'm good. What do you expect?" she said in a slightly fine and happier tone at you almost forget and doubt yourself that she was sad a moment ago. But I have to remind myself that Anika is a very convincing actress as much as she is a very good model.
"You got to be kidding me?" I said.
"Who are you fooling, Anika?" Jessie joined in.
"Nobody. I am feeling good okay. Just tired from all the things we did today." She said standing up from the couch. "I'm going to slip out of this outfit and go to bed."
"Good night Anika!" we said in unison.
"'Night guys!" she said before going out the room to her bedroom.
As she left the room, I felt bad for her. Anika going through a lot right now. With stress of the fashion week coming up and I'm pretty sure that the fight that see and Felix had before we left is taking its toll on her. She's stress. But when at work she is good at hiding it.
"I feel bad for her." Lilac broke the silence that settle after Anika left the room.
"I know. Since you're not the only one." Jessie said sitting and grabbing the remote to lower the volume of the television set. "Why did Felix have to do that?"
"Do what? What did her do anyway?" Lilac asked getting intrigued that she didn't notice that she accidentally knock the vase down to the ground. Well...maybe until it hit the floor with a big CRASH!!!
"Lilac!" I shouted as pieces of broken vase came flying on different direction.
"Sorry!" she said guiltily looking at me with her pleading eyes and I also heard Jessie laughing behind me.
"Get a broom and a dust pan." I ordered.
"Sorry!" and with that she left to the kitchen and back with a broom on the one hand and a dustpan on the other.
Oh Lilac! You are so innocent. Well I don't think you are. Now I'm confusing myself. This is getting ridiculous. I should stop talking to myself. I'm not getting anything done.
"What did Felix do, anyway?" I heard Lilac asked after we cleared up the mess. And I must say I am also intrigue to what Felix did this time. Felix and Anika in their two-year relationship only fought twice.
And I must say, they are the only one that had the least fight in the five of us. Since this two are so close that it seems impossible to believe they fought. The do. However, if they do then it is a full-on battle. Not the back-stabbing since they are not that kind of persons. But what they do is ignore each other to no end.
It's funny really.
"I don't know. As much as we know that they are fighting I don't know the reason." I heard Jessie say.
"They are secretive." Lilac replied.
"She is a complete opposite of you, Lilac" I chuckled.
"What? I can be secretive to you know." Lilac whined.
