Tamaki's POV

All my life I've been reminded time and time again of my flaws, and how they don't fit the 'hero' lifestyle.

"He's so quiet, you think he'll make it?"

"Much too shy, he won't last a week"

"What a loser, how'd he manage to get into UA?"

Having all this doubt surround me, followed by having only two friends in the whole school...
Plus all of this 'The Big Three' nonsense.. I don't deserve the spotlight I'm getting..

Maybe I should just quit, prove all those people right.

I am a loser.

I am weak.

I won't last.

"Tamaki!! I've been looking all over for you!!
C'mon, Nejire can't stand still for too long we gotta go!!"

He shines so bright..
Like the sun..

"Tamaki! Tamakiii??"

My heart beats uncontrollably whenever I'm near him... his smile...

"Earth to Tamaki?? Hey!!"

It's so..

"TAMAKI AMAJIKI!!!"

"EH?!?"

I let out a girly squeal of confusion followed by heavy breathing

"C'mon we gotta get to class before the-"

The bright eyed student let out an exhausted sigh

"Welp, I guess we're late.."

I just messed everything up!! I always make such a mess of everything..

"Tamaki, I know that look.. it's okay,
okay?"

Mirio's mouth grew into a wide smile to comfort me, and was soon laughing

"Let's just hope Sensei won't be too mad.."

I nodded and stood close to the blonde, enjoying his warmth as he guided me down the halls

"Th-Thanks..Mirio.."

We walked for a while—interlocked—before I began to see something large and light blew approach us. I didn't notice what it was at first, but then it began...

Talking..?

"YOU DUMMIES!! WE'RE LATE!!!"

Nejire's cheeks puffed up and a bright red glow came soon after. She clenched her hands into a fist and bonked both I and Mirio on the head.

"S-sorry Nejire...jus-j-just me again-n..."

My lower lip gave me a pouty look and I grew silent before the bubbly blue girl piped up once more,

"Hey hey hey hey hey!! Don't be so sad you big baby!!"

She giggled and squeezed my cheeks, shaping them into a giant grin before skipping down the hall into our class

Mirio and I followed, not far behind.
