ALICEN'S POV
It has been a hour since I battled that Nighlok. He was... surprisingly strong. I hadn't expected it. Those insults I said? I only wanted to provoke him but they were all lies. He was strong, tough. But what I was most surprised about was that... there were other Samurai Rangers! My dad never even mentioned it to me, he had told me that I was the only hero around. Why did he hide it from me? Was this even supposed to happen? Was I supposed to meet the Samurai Rangers? Ugh, Alicen! You need to stop overthinking! Whatever... but... look! The dojo! I'm finally there!
As I arrived at the dojo, still carrying around my luggage and bag, I walked over to the door. I sighed to myself in worry, "I hope I went to the right place..." Staring down at the door bell, I quickly rung it and nervously shifted myself backwards a bit than waited for someone to answer the door.
"Coming! Just hold on!" A girl? Why was there a girl? Wait... a girl?! Why did my dad have a girl over at the dojo?! I could feel myself fidgetting and starting to panic more, but I quickly calmed myself before someone answered the door.
A tall, dirty-blonded boy with mesmerizing ocean blue eyes had answered the door. "Hello?" He said and I quickly shifted over again, only to realize that he was around the same age as me. "Hey Jayden! Who is it?" A black-haired boy yelled, he had a leather jacket and was quite tan. "Uh, I'm not sure actually Mike..." Jayden said, replying to Mike but then gestured himself back to me. "Hi, how may I help you?" Jayden said firmly, his voice was... deep, calming, and oddly soothing. "Uhm, actually. I was looking for someone, but maybe I'll come back another time." I could feel myself stiffen up even more, barely even able to move. "I recognize that voice..." Jayden thought to himself. "I-I was just about to l-" I had gotten interrupted by another voice I heard. "Who is th- Alicen!" I heard my dad yell out in shock.
