DRACO L. MALFOY is the most pretentious piece of shit that he has ever met throughout his unfortunate long life. Then again, rarely he ever did offer himself up as a marchwarden--much less to wizards such as The Malfoys. He didn't know what he wanted. He's sad, he's tragic, and he just needs someone who knows how it feels when your knuckles turn numb and when your chest ached from pain alone.
Thus as much as pretentious and prissy Draco is, he's his ward. FLORENCE ARCHWARDEN's ward--merlin, he hate that name--and by gods he's going to keep the man alive what ever's the cost. Even if it meant calling up a spell that had and always been his achilles' heel. One that he could cast when he's asleep, memorizing it like the back of his hand.
After six months spent charming galleons into muggle cash, three weeks of planning the most elaborate and pretentious--you can never forget the Malfoy charm to it--backstory, a manor confiscated, a shopping spree, an OBLIVIATE casted, and three shots of vodka; Hogwarts found herself in short of a Potions teacher.
Nobody thought much of it, just like they never thought that PALLAS A. THEMIS, the new Potions Teacher, is none other than Draco Malfoy himself. Merlin, even Longbottom was fond of him! Goddamn Pride and Prejudices against The Malfoys are getting old for Florence's taste.
Nobody, except for one Harry goddamn Potter. Oh well, that's for another time. After another shot of vodka that is.

i made this for fun. i am also changing few names because they're just,,,, qué? rowling i have questions. it's not canon compliant. it's not canon compliant. if you don't like it, then shoo. i made this at 2 am while i'm bored--this is just for fun.
also i added some lores and fixed jkr's plotholes. mainly how charms work, rules on riding brooms, the whomping willow backstory, the centaurs and mermaids backstory, etc etc. i'll probably make an entire section/index for it. we'll see. i will also add that the yûle ball will be celebrated for 3 days, because yûletide in general is 12 days, as is the custom. i don't want to botcher any culture so i'm researching as i write. if you find any mistakes, do let me know. i'm also gonna add fae-folk and other celebrations; because magical world without the faerie? not legit, i do not agree. i am also adding more magical jobs.
i set this post the war, but there will be flashbacks. some characters might be ooc, because at this point i'm just fixing the character development too because somebody did that very sloppily. i'm taking the wheel for the magical system too. i will add notes as i go.
i don't know the schedule for this. i might be slow, or fast. i dunno. i wrote this for fun, so i sure as hell am gonna make this for my entertainment. i will also add the fact that i wrote ch. 0 and 1 while i was crying and i don't have a beta reader, so yeah. have fun.
