Today was the day I would finally tell Devon that I am pregnant. We have only been dating for a couple of weeks, but that night was the most amazing night ever. I only hope he would be there for me and the child.

I went up the stairs and knocked on his door two times before he answered. He opened the door and hugged me tightly.

"Come in Sweetie" Devon said

I came in and he closed the door. He kissed me like he would never see me again.

"What are you doing here Braedan" asked Devon

"You called me and told me to come. Remember Devon" I said

"Oh right. Yea. I-I-I remember now" Devon responded

I sat down on the couch while Devon sat beside me. I thought that I should tell him now.

"Devon"

"Yea Braedan" Devon responded

"I need to tell you something and I hope you won't be mad at me when I tell you this"

He got up.

"Ok Braedan what is it" Devon said with anger in his voice.

"Um"

"WELL SPIT IT OUT BRAEDAN" Devon yelled

I jumped a little bit. He has never yelled at me before, well not like this anyway.

"Ok ok. Um...I am pregnant" I said with scaredness in my voice.

Devon looked so angry. He smacked me so hard I fell to the ground. I started to cry.

"STOP CRYING YOU LITTLE BITCH" Devon yelled

"Why would you do this" I said while tears dripping down from my eyes.

"BECAUSE YOU ARE A WHORE". WE ONLY DID IT ONCE"

I stopped crying. Now I was angry.

"YEA BUT YOU DIDNT USE PROTECTION LIKE I ASKED YOU TOO" I yelled at him.

He hit me again.

"Don't you EVER yell like that to me again. DO YOU UNDERSTAND".

I shook my head yes. I picked myself up again.

"I want you to get out NOW. Devon said.

"But what about us, the baby. I'm gonna need help with this". I said

"Go tell your other man that". Devon said.

I was confused.

"YOU ARE THE FATHER. I WOULD NEVER CHEAT ON YOU". I yelled

"WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT YELLING AT ME".

I flinched a little. Devon was about to hit me again, but he resisted.

"Why are you still here. I told you to GET OUT".

"What about what you told me that you loved me, that you would take care of me, and always be there for me". I said choking up my words.

"It was all a lie to get in your pants. It was a bet I made with my friends".

I started to cry. I was just some little bet.

"You stupid bitch ass slut". He whispered.

I was just standing there crying my eyes out. He saw me and started to push me out.

"GET THE FUCK OUT" Devon said while pushing me out the door.

"No please Devon please". I cried out

"NO"

He finally got me out the door. Devon looked me in the eyes and slammed the door in my face. I stood there crying my eyes out. I started walking home. When I got home my parents told me to get out. I cried even more to find out even my parents didn't want me.

And until this day I still remember the details of what happened.

9 months later my son Daniel Joshua Evans was born.
