"What! Why?!" I argued with him. Why couldn't I sign up? What was so bad about cheerleading?
"Because I siad so! That's why." He screamed back at me. The whole time this was going on, the other guys were sitting there watching.
"But that's not fair! I love cheerleading!"
"Life's not fair! You are not doing cheerleading and that's FINAL!" He screamed even louder.
I couldn't find anything else to say so I stormed back to my room, not even making my dinner. I slammed my door and sat down at my desk. I skyped Ginger and told her about how selfish Zak was being.
We were skyping for an hour or so and my stomach was growling.
"Why aren't you eating anything? You're not going anorexic are you?" She leaned closer to the screen.
My stomach growled again and this time I wrapped my arms around myself because it was painfull. "No, I'm not going anorexic. I just don't want to leave me room because of Zak."
"Oh will you suck it up and feed yourself. I have to get off anyway. Bye." She logged off.
"Great." I just sat there and stared at my computer screen. I heard the door open then shut. My heart stopped because I thought someone was breaking in. I didn't hear the guys leave so I figured it was just Zak.
"Katie! Come here!" It was Zak. He didn't sound mad anymore. I got up and came out to the living room area.
"Yes?"
"Here. It's your favorite." He dropped a paper bag on the counter and walked away. I went over and opened the bag. I got an immediate smell of chicken, rice, chocolate, and cake. The guys must've gone out to eat while I was talking to Ginger.
"This is good." I skipped over the chicken and rice alfrado and went straight to the chocolate cake.
"Yeah I know. I had a small piece at the resurant. I even asked what they put in it." He turned on the T.V.
"What do they put in it?" I took a huge bite then swallowed before he said anything.
"Cinnamon."
"C-C-Cinnamon?" My eyes widened and I spit out what I had in my mouth.
"Yeah. What's wrong?" He finally looked back at me.
"I'm allergic to cinnamon!" I yelled while running back to the bathroom to puke my guts out.
The weird thing about my allergic reaction to the cinnamon is that I don't swell up. I don't get hives or a rash. All that happens is that I throw up constintally until it's all out of my system. Then I get a massive fever. Then a horrible cough. This process usually goes for about 3-4 days.
I heard Zak coming down the hall and come into the bathroom with me. He held my hair back as I began to vomit. I always cry when I throw up so it didn't take long before I was balling my eyes out.
"Shh. Shhh. It's okay. I'll get Jay to watch you tomorrow while the guys and I go to the event."
"No." I said in between puke sessions. "I want to go to the event." I started vomiting again.
"Sweetheart. You can't go to a public event like that while having a stomache virus."
"I...don't have....a stomach....virus...." I tried speaking but was interupted by more vomit. "I'll just have a slight fever in the morning and then a little cough." I made the situation not sound as bad as it really was. I could tell he was thinking about it because there was a little bit of silence other than my violent vomiting.
