Let's just say, I wasn't the girl that the popular guys were into. I didn't do stuff with my hair every day like most girls, I pretty much just brushed through it in the morning. I never put makeup on, I thought it was just un-needed and I didn't want to spend time clogging up my pores. I saved a lot of money just by buying clothes from second hand stores, I wasn't the kind of girl that wore brand name clothes. So when Tyler Anderson, an average guy, asked me to be his girlfriend, I immediately said yes even though I barely knew him, I was obviously desperate because almost every girl in my grade had a boyfriend and I was barely acknowledged. Tyler was a nice kid. He got good grades, he had a job working with his uncle for whatever he did. But it was until Tyler and I had our first date that I realized Tyler was not as nice as I thought he was.
*Flashback*
"What movie would you like to see?" He asked, looking from the movie menu to me.
My eyes traveled up and down the movie menu for the fifth time now. I hadn't realized how hard it is to pick just one. I was into romantic movies but I was pretty sure that's not what Tyler wants to see. A funny movie? None of them sounded good. Scary? I can't stand scary movies. But I was guessing Tyler was really into them because that's what he was mainly looking at.
"Do you like scary movies?"
"I guess so." I answered.
"Then it's settled. We will watch Insidous 2."
Fuck.
During the middle of the movie, I just wanted to leave. I seriously wasn't even watching the movie. I stretched the sleeve of my jacket and covered my eyes with it. It's not that I was scared, it was because there's too many pop up parts. I heard Tyler behind me laugh at my actions.
"You think this is funny?" I gave him a serious look.
He nodded. "Pretty much. Come closer."
I obeyed him and scooted closer to him. I had no idea was he was planning to do until I felt his arm wrap tightly around my shoulder as he scooted me even closer so that there was no space between us.
I looked up at Tyler and realized he was already looking at me. He leaned down and soon enough, our lips were touching. He didn't know it, but this was actually my first kiss.
Tyler had pulled back with his eyes still closed and a grin on his face. "Wanna take this somewhere else?"
"Um. Sure.." I had no idea where we were taking 'this', but we'll just have to wait and see in a few minutes. "But what about the movie?"
"It sucks anyway." He laughed. He grabbed a hold of my hand and pulled me up from out of my seat. Before he pulled me away, I gathered all the things we bought so that I could throw them away. It'd be rude and disrespectful if I just left them here.
We jogged out of the theater and passed all the workers as they stared at us. We probably looked like idiots for paying for a movie and buying snacks and stuff when we weren't going to finish it anyway.
Tyler and I were now outside and that's when I got curious. Where were we going? Its the end of November and it was freezing.
"We can go to my car." Tyler said.
"But you're only fifteen? You can't drive." I giggled.
