*Charlie's p.o.v.*
We walk in silence through the crowded cafeteria to the metal door in the back corner that leads to our sad excuse for a courtyard.
Our courtyard, unlike most schools', is just a few tables, a few pots of flowers, and a pond with only a few fish. If you ask me, it was not nice at all, but out here, we don't have to deal with all the idiots inside so I guess I can deal.
"It's kind of chilly out here.", I comment as he opens the door and we step outside.
"Here.", Ashton says as he pulls off his black jacket and drapes it over my shoulders.
"No, Ash you don't have to give me your jacket.", I protest.
"I know I don't have to but I want to.", he smiles reassuringly, "I'll be fine. You need it more than I do."
"Thanks.", I smile shyly.
We quickly find Michael, Michael's girlfriend, Natalie, Calum, Calum's girlfriend Amberlynne, Luke, and Luke's girlfriend Lauraleigh, sitting at one of the tables just across from the pond.
"Hey, Ash. Hey, Charlie.", they all say simultaneously.
"Hey guys.", I smile as I sit down next to the girls as Ashton sits with the boys.
"Charlie, we were just discussing about having a girl's night at my house tomorrow, you in?", Natalie questions, "my parents won't be home so we can sit down stairs, watch a bunch of movies, and just pig out."
"Well, I usually stay the night at Ash's on Friday nights for our annual movie night.", I hesitate not wanting to just ditch Ashton.
"Its fine, Charlie, you go have fun with the girls.", he interrupts.
"You sure, Ash?", I ask.
"Yeah, go ahead. I can just hang out with the guys. We are long over do for a band practice anyway.", he answers with a chuckle.
"Ok, Nata, I'm in.", I say with a smile.
"Bring any movies you guys want. I'm gonna go after school today and get a bunch of junk food.", Natalie informs us, "you should come with me, Charlie."
"Yeah, sure. Hey, Ash, I'm gonna go to the store with Nata later but if you still wanted to hang out after school, like usual, I'm free after.", I inform him.
"Yeah, that's fine, I have to babysit Harry and Lauren so you can just come on over when you're done.", he says before reengaging in conversation with the boys.
"Ok, sounds great, let's just meet at Walmart after school.", Natalie suggests.
"Ok, that works.", I smile.

School ended a bit ago so I'm at Walmart waiting, as Nata and I planned.
I take out my phone and decide to text my blonde haired friend.
To: Nata <3
Hey, I'm here in the side parking lot.

Within a minute my phone vibrates signaling thatI have a text.
From: Nata <3
I just got here. meet me at the front door.
