Rya sat near the edge of the cliff the Autobot base sat upon, unseen to anyone. She took her glasses of and wiped the sand collecting on the lense off against her red glittery shirt. She pushed them up her nose and leaned back against her arm, staring off.
"Ratchet said I could find you up here." Dreadlock said, pulling her out her thoughts.
"I come up here when I need a break." She said. "Wish they had something like this on Cybertron."
"From the looks of the things going on, it seems like you need to move up here." He joked.
Ryanna chuckled. "I wish."
Dreadlock sat down next to her.
"Ratchet has told me I need a new name for myself, since I'm not a Decepticon." He said.
"Having problems coming up with one?"
'Yeah."
"I did, too."
"You chose your own name? I thought Optimus gave it to you."
"I had chosen my name before he found me. When he became Prime, the high council made me change my name."
"They did?"
"Yeah. Daddy said I can change my name to whatever I wanted. I said I wanted him to choose. He kept my first name. He changed my middle name. Then my last name became Prime."
"What was your middle name before?"
"Diamond."
"To be honest, I kinda like Diamond more than Starlight."
She chuckled. "That's what he said, too. But the counsel made him change it. So he chose the next closest thing."
"Ah."
They were silent for a minute.
"What about Drift?" Rya said.
"Drift?"
"Yeah. Drift. I'm not saying you have to use it. You can choose a different one if you want to."
"I like the sound of it. I just have to think about it."
"Well, you don't have to use it if you don't want to."
An over coming helicopter flew over the two and landed on the landing pad slowly.
"And there's Fowler." Rya muttered.
"Who?"
"Ryanna!" Fowler shouted.
"Speak of the devil," She murmured, getting up and walking over to the landing pad.
"What do you want, Fowler?" Rya shouted back.
"What's this crap I'm hearing about a Decepticon, staying at this base?"
"He's not a Con anymore."
"How do you know? What proof did he have?"
"He brought me my injection. Me standing on two feet and being outside is the proof. So if you wanna try and argue with me and threaten to go to the Pentagon, I don't give two scraps, not even three scraps. You are not going to treat a rookie poorly and get away with it while I am here on your Earth. Kapeesh?"
Fowler's face was red.
"What? Never been yelled at by a 12 billion year old before?"
"This isn't over, Prime." He snapped, storming back to the helicopter and giving the pilot an OK to take off. "I'm not going to the Pentagon, but this is the only slide you get, you hear me?"
"What? Sorry, I couldn't hear you over the noise of your mouth." She snapped back.
The helicopter lifted up and left.
