Finally the school day was over, Lexi walked to her locker. Lexi started putting things in her locker as someone came up beside her "Hey Lexi!" Sophia said as Lexi looked over "Oh hey Sophia" Lexi said as she closed her locker and looked at Sophia. "I was wondering if you wanted to come over?" Sophia asked as she smiled "Yeah sure" Lexi smiled as Sophia smiled "Alright come on" Sophia grabbed her hand as they walked outside and met up with Lilia and Emily. "Let's Go!" Sophia said as the four girls walked to Sophia's house, they finally got there and Sophia opened the door, the girls walked in to see that her brother and boyfriend was already home. "How did you get home so fast, joey?" Sophia asked as Joey smiled "That's a secret, I'll never tell" Joey said as he chuckled a bit at the end, Lexi smiled as she looked down. "Well I guess since ya'll are here, we can all hang out" Lilia said as they all agreed, Charles came in and put his arm around Sophia, "so what should we do?" Emily asked "We could play truth or dare" Charles suggested as they all agreed, they all sit in a circle. They started playing the game until Lexi stood up "I'll be back, I have a phone call" Lexi said as she walked away from them and answered the phone "Hello?" Lexi asked "Hi Alexis, I need to tell you something" Her mother said "Okay what is it?" Lexi asked as she got worried "Me and your father are divorcing" Her mother said "What? Why? You guys were happy" Lexi said as she got upset "We needed to act that way for you" Her mother said "I'm sorry" Her mother said as Lexi hung up the phone. Lexi walked back to the circle and faked a smile "Everything okay?" Joey asked "Yep, it was just my mom wondering where I was" Lexi said as she sat down next to Sophia and Joey again, they continued the game until they got tired "Wanna watch a movie?" Lilia asked as everyone nodded "I'll get snacks and drinks" Joey said "do you need help?" Lexi asked "Yeah sure" Joey said as him and Lexi walked into the kitchen, Joey got the popcorn out and got the bowls, Joey out the popcorn in the microwave "So what was the phone call actually about, you sounded pretty upset" Joey asked as Lexi looked down "My parents are divorcing" Lexi said as she looked up at Joey "Oh I'm sorry" Joey said as Lexi sighed "It's not your fault" Lexi said as she got the soda and the popcorn was ready. "We should get back with the group" Lexi said as they started walking out the kitchen and the others ran back to the couch pretending they weren't listening, Joey and Lexi walked out with the soda and popcorn, they placed it down on the table and Joey and Lexi sat next to each other. "Okay so we decided on a horror movie" Sophia said as she smiled putting in the movie, the movie started and Lexi was getting scared so Joey put his arm around her, Lexi wasn't paying attention and cuddled up with Joey, Joey looked down at her and smiled. Finally the movie was over, "You guys wanna sleepover, I mean it is Friday" Sophia said "Sure!" They all said, "Alright, well I'm going to go get my stuff" Lexi said as she walked to the door "Do you want someone to walk with you?" Joey asked looking at Lexi "Sure" Lexi smiled as her and Joey walked outside and started walking to Lexi's house. "I'm sorry again, about your parents" Joey said breaking the silence "It's fine" Lexi looked down until she looked up again "I forgot, I have to go inside the house where my parents are, What if they want to talk about it, I'm not ready" Lexi said as she stopped walking, Joey held her hand "Hey, I'm here" Joey said as Lexi looked down at their hands, they kept walking until they finally got to Lexi's house. Lexi took a deep breath as she opened the door, "please stay out here" Lexi said as she let go of Joey's hand "you sure?" Joey asked as Lexi nodded and walked inside. Lexi walked upstairs avoiding her parents, Lexi grabbed a bag and put her pajama's in there which was plaid shorts and a black crop top, then she out her clothes for the next day in there, then she put her bathing suit in there just in case, finally she put her toothbrush, hairbrush, toothpaste, etc. Lexi put her bag on and walked back downstairs "Honey, can we talk?" Her mother said as Lexi looked at them "Sure" Lexi said as she walked to her mom and dad. "We are so sorry, to have told you over the phone" Her father said as Lexi looked away "I don't want to talk about it" Lexi said as she walked away and went outside. "So, did they talk to you?" Joey asked as they started walking "Yeah they did, but I didn't want to talk about it so I left" Lexi said as she looked down "It's fine, if you don't want to talk right now, you can talk when your ready" Joey said as he smiled causing Lexi to smile. They finally arrived at Joey's house "We're back!" Joey yelled as he closed the door after Lexi walked through "Girl! You better have your bathing suit!" Sophia said smiling "Well lucky for you I do!" Lexi smiled "Where's the restroom? So I can change" Lexi asked as Sophia showed her where the restroom was. Lexi closed the door and locked it, Lexi got changed into her bathing suit which was a black bikini until she remembered the huge scar on her side, Lexi hasn't told anyone about it except for her parents obviously, then she saw the cuts on her arm "Dang It!" Lexi whispered to herself "Everything okay in there, Lexi?" Emily asked as Lexi looked at the door "Yup everything is good! Can you get Joey please" Lexi trusted Joey with it so they can explain what happened together. A minute later Joey got to the door, Joey knocks on the door "Hey Lexi, they said you needed me" Joey asked "Yeah, can you come in here, I need to tell you something" Lexi said as Joey walked in but Lexi was facing the other way "You okay?" Joey asked as Lexi shook her head "No, I need to tell you something because I trust you" Lexi said not facing him covering her stomach "Okay, what is it?" Joey asked as Lexi sighed and turned around still covering her stomach. When Lexi turned around the first thing Joey's eyes saw was her hands covering her stomach, Lexi looked down where Joey was looking "When I was little I was in a car accident with my father, and this happened" Lexi said as Joey looked at her "It's horrible" Lexi said as she turned around and Joey walked closer to her and moved her arms "It's not ugly, your beautiful the way you are, don't let anyone tell you different" Joey said as Lexi looked up at him as Joey smiled. Joey leaned in and so did Lexi and they kissed, they quickly pulled away blushing "I'm sorry" Lexi said as Joey looked at her "No, I liked it and I like you" Joey smiled making Lexi smile "Will you be my girlfriend?" Joey asked as Lexi nodded and hugged him. "Hey guys, are you coming?" Sophia asked........
