Kaycee couldn't help but laugh at her husband when she entered the kitchen to find him wearing a black shirt tucked in jeans with a black belt.
"Hi, mommy" Rosie, their 5 years daughter, said while reaching her arms for Kaycee to pick her up from the center counter.
"Hi, baby girl" Kayce said while hugging the little girl tight against her chest and kissing her curly head.
"What were you laughing about when you came in?" Sean said while giving the contents on the pan another stir before turning the heat off and closing the lid then leaning against the counter beside the stove.
Kaycee started laughing again, she couldn't help it "You". Sean put his hands up and scrunched his face, confused by her answer. "Why? What did I do?" He asked her before giving the bacon in the frying pan a look.
"What are you wearing?" She asked before starting to giggle once again. Sean couldn't understand why she kept laughing at him. "What's wrong with them?" He said looking down at the outfit he decided on wearing for the day.
"You look like a dad" she said while getting a water bottle from the fridge. "Well, I am a dad, you know" he said as if stating a fact.
"Can you open the lid for mommy?" Kaycee asked Rosie in a soft tone while holding the bottle between them, the girl nodded and started to try opening. "I know, but you don't usually dress like one" she told Sean with a smile and a soft giggle.
"And what do I usually dress like?" Sean asked while getting the bottle from Rosie's hand and opening it. "Well, like a homeless man" Kaycee said as if it was a common knowledge and reached her hand forward asking for the water.
Sean gasped at his wife response, offended. "Well now, you're not getting any water" he said with a joking angry tone while setting the bottle beside him but all Kaycee could do was giggle at his reaction and get the bottle from the counter beside him.
"I like it, Daddy" Rosie said wrapping her arms around Sean's neck before Kaycee could go back to her spot leaning on the center counter. "Thanks, baby" he said hugging her and giving Kaycee a pout making her roll her eyes.
"I'm not saying it looks bad, it just looks funny" she said shaking her head before taking a sip of her water.
"Funny, yeah? Well your outfit-" Sean stopped what he was going to say when Kaycee gave him 'the eye'. "My outfit what?" She said slowly and with a threatening look.
Sean started shaking his head fast "Nothing, Angel, you look perfect like always" he said before putting Rosie back on the counter and going back to the stove and putting the bacon on the plate. "Daddy's scared of mommy" Rosie said laughing at her dad's reaction and Sean looked at her pouting.
"Good to know" she said before heading to the door and screaming "Alex! Breakfast!" Then the sound of running footsteps started to echo through the house and a few seconds later a 10 years old version of Sean came through the door.
"Where's the fo- Why are you dressed like that, Dad?" The boy said completely forgetting about the food. Kaycee and Rosie couldn't help but start laughing at Sean as he looked down and sighed.
"Your dad is trying something new and it actually looks really nice, don't you agree Rosie?" Kaycee said smiling at the little girl who nodded quickly at her mother. "Yes daddy, I think you look really nice" she said in her sweet voice with a smile and Sean kissed her head "Thanks, baby"
"Alright then....so, where's the food?" Alex asked while sitting at his usual place at the round table. Kaycee shook her head smiling and started to put the food on the table while Sean sat Rosie at her high chair.
