Uma is the Daughter of The sea witch Ursula. Yes, THE Ursula known as sea witch or sea monster. I mean, you know the story of the little mermaid, she almost took over the damn world. It was so close it was scary, horrifying. Her Reputation is so huge at the mention of her name in Auradon it sends shivers down their spines. She is easily comparable to The Evil Queen, Jafarah, Voodoo, Queen of Hearts, Rasputin, Shaun Yu, and Maleficent.

 Her daughter is very feared among the isle for being her daughter and for her own mischief making. Like mother like daughter , both monsters. Even in her own crew fears her, Harry is a bit closer with her and is one of the only people who sees her calm since she usually has a poker face, bored face, or a face of pure anger, but...

there are times where he, like everyone, fears for his life from Uma. Though Uma does trust Harry, so much so she made him her first mate, she can still catch the look of absolute fear in his eyes when she... looses it. 

It makes her sad, one person is all she asks, one person that would look at her without being scared of being drowned to death by her hands... or worse.

Though there is no magic on the isle that did not stop the Queen of madness to stop finding a way to create some. After all she's still the Queen of all wonderland. She's the only one mad enough to run that country. 

Somehow, in some mad twisted way, she conjured up her own magic. At first it wasn't much but, she keep practicing till she was strong enough to teleport to and from somewhere. 

She got past the barrier and to her wonderful surprise, found Auradon over flowing with beings and things of madness.

The kings and Queens of good royals were trying to get the control over the situation in their kingdoms. 

Fairy Godmother and other good enchantresses, fairies, and elves were using their magic to try and control the problems of wonderland. All wonderlanders that had yet to be sealed in the isle were causing mayhems of madness and being well...insane. They all had somehow, out wit all the guards, fairies and other beings that were trying to seal them in isle. I mean there were so many of them! They were all insane and so far the only ones that were sealed were the Queen, the Knave, the mad hatter, The Cheshire cat, the tweedle twins and the rabbit. They had a whole country's worth of madness somehow get rid of.

King beast was at the ends of wits, he's got growing animal like features to prove it. Queen Belle was trying to keep their precious 3 year old son Ben safe, afraid the mad men might be mad enough to harm someone. 

Everyone was becoming afraid by the day, surrounded by these mad creatures that seem to be immune to the magic used trying to catch them. They all thought they would become mad themselves until one day, all the beings of wonderland were all gone. 

At first people were weary, they all haven't had a nights rest since they sealed the Queen of hearts in the Isle. All of them searched for the wonderlanders to see where they've gone to. 

They were found on the mountain side look up, when the people of Auradon followed their gaze they were all shocked to see the Queen of Madness herself. The people of Auradon were trembling and screaming in fear which didn't go unnoticed by the Queen of Hearts. She simple ignored them till her speech was over. 

When it was done, she walked towards the royals and their people that had followed then asked what they wanted. King Beast demanded to know how the hell she got out of the isle. She answered as though the answer was simple " I thought outside the box or barrier in this case, dear".

Beast with his short temper was about to lash out, Queen Belle stood in between the two and fairy Godmother took over the situation. She told the Queen of Hearts she needed to go back inside the isle because she poses as disruption of peace.
