I just have to see him once a day, and I'm fine for the rest of the week. That's the kind of girl I am, the fall head over heels kind. Once I realised that was falling for Chris Brockton, I was falling deep in over my head. Everyone in school thought I was crazy, I guess that's why I had only a small group of friends. Just my three best friends and I.

I'm Madison Corment, 3 child of 6. I am partcially crazy, which my friends say is an effect called middle child syndrome. And did I mention I'm the only girl too, yeah so I have very over protective dads.

Yes I said dads, as in multiple. My mother was divorced twice, and now in her third marriage. Both my biological dad, and my first step dad still care about me since I am the only girl. They care about me and my brothers since my two older brothers and I were from the same father, and my younger brother directly under me was from my first step father. And then there was my mother.

She was only 18 when she had my older brothers. Yeah their twins Jordan and Jaden, and incredibly hot (as far as my friends are concerned).

There is me. I got the worst of both my parents. I got my mom's sliver eyes, which made me look evil and sinical and her height, so I stood at only 5 4' while both my brothers were at least 5 10'. Then I got my dad's hair colour. Which was a deep dark brown, but it made me look strange because of my eye colour.

Then my three younger brothers. They all had my mother's dirty blond hair and her gorgeous facial features, except her eyes.

My first younger brother, Sam, had gorgeous brown eyes which I wished I had and an amazing musical talent.

My second younger brother, Caden, has amazing sports talent.

Then my youngest brother, Taylor, who was suppose to be a girl but works both ways. Did I mention that he is 3 years old?

Well anyways back to school. Sitting in the caf. watching Chris and his girlfriend. He was feeding her a french fry. Ooh gosh how I wish that was me. Then he kissed her on the cheek, I felt my blood pressure rise.

"Yo Madison! MADISON!" my friend Talia screamed into my ear. I turned to her. She looked at me with her big brown eyes through her glasses, worriedly.

"Hmm" I responded, still thinking about Chris.

"Are you alright?" my other friend Hilary asked me waving a hand infront of my face.

"I'm fine guys", I said, not even sure that I was even convincing myself.

"Liar, she was probably staring at Chris again", my other-other friend Leah said.

"Ok so maybe I was ok. Deal with it", I said sinically.

"But why? He is so...so..help me out here Talia", Hilary said motioning for someone to fill in the gap.

"So Chris-like", Talia cofirmed. I rolled my eyes. But they were right.

I didn't know why I liked Chris. It was something that the girls just wouldn't understand. There was something unspoken about him. Something that made him so appealing. And clearly I wasn't the onyl one. It was basically just me and his girlfriend, Cassidy.

What he saw in her I will never understand. I mean she was shorter than me (and Chris was 5 11'), and had untamed black hair and an incredibly horrible fashion sense. And she was literally at the bottom of class average list, and you really wonder why she took academic english.

But in truth I was so jealous of her. It just isn't fair. I got pretty good grades, and had decent clothes and looks. But some how she managed to get Chris.

Now don't get me wrong, he is no Zayn Malik but like I said for some reason he looked amazing to me. To me, he was amazing. He made my heart skip a beat. The reason I get through the day.

"Ms. Corment, please remember that you have detention tonight", Ms Pesirro said.

I rolled my eyes and nodded. Hey I get good grades but I didn't say I stayed out of trouble. I was deamed with detention for the rest of the year because of what had happened earlier in 10th grade. So now in grade eleven I was being punished for something I didn't even do. I know, FML.

BRIIINNGGG. The bell rung for fourth period. Ugh, english class. I thought as I got up to go to class.

As we walked out the door I saw Chris out of the corner of my eye, walking out behind me. I felt my cheeks redden, and a smirk cross over the faces of my friends. I rolled my eyes. Seriously, they are so childish sometimes.

Then suddenly I felt a hot breath on the back of my neck.

"Excuse me", I heard a deep voice say. I step out of the way to see that that voice was Chris. Chris, the Chris. I felt my heart rate quicken.

"Um sorry", I mumbled, trying to control the colour in my cheeks.

Then he walked around me. His hand lightly brushing mine. What do you say when that happens, ooh yes. It was as if electricity was passing through me, sparks igniting where our hands touched. Then his hand moved away from mine. I sighed.

THE

BEST

TWO

SECONDS

OF

MY

LIFE!

I thought to myself. Then I turned to my friends who were just smirking at me. I rolled my eyes. I am never going to hear the end of this.

"Wow he touched your hand!" Talia nudging me in the arm several times.

"I know, it was the best two seconds of my life ever", I squealed. Then I saw my brothers come by. OOH HELL NO!

No one at school knows that I'm there little sister. I will never live it down. So as fast as I could I grabbed my friends and ran out of there.

Right now all I wanted was to be with Chris. If anyone learned why I really liked Chris? I might never see the light of day again.
