Chapter 3

Best day ever, it's the best day ever. I know its from a cartoon but I love that song and it was exactly what I was feeling right now. Me and Chris about to eat pizza together, and then unto forever. That is how the story starts and ends. It is the common story, and it will work out. In my head it will anyways, and one thing may just lead to another.

I looked at Chris who had a jump in his step and was bouncing uncontrolably. I smiled at this, it was kind of cute, if I do say so myself. My heart was fluttering like crazy and I think I might just explode. Then suddenly my phone buzzed, then it rang. Ooh no

I rummaged through my bag looking for my phone, which kept buzzing and playing One Direction's Rock Me. It was so embarassing and I could see a smile grow on Chris' face. I rolled my eyes, I can't believe that my phone is still ringing, I swear that this is the worse thing that could happen to me.

Then I finally found it and looked at the I.D., and it was just Hilary. I rolled my eyes and picked up.

"What do you want Hilary? I am kind of busy here" I said annoyed. Why can't my friends be normal like other people. Well, normal isn't so normal anymore anyways.

"So I am guessing that you are with Chris then?" Hilary asked obnoxiously.

"Yeah yeah I am and because of you Rock Me has blasted out", I growled but had a hint of love in it. I love my friends, especially my best friends Hilary, Talia and Leah. They are truly the only true friends I have. Especially after that party, a few years back and Quinn. Ooh Quinn, he was such a bad assed boy. But he always stayed out of trouble. Such a suck up since he was some next super rich boy that lived on the better side of town. I rolled my eyes. Ugh Quinn, I will always hate that boy, and innocence isn't something that he takes to heart all you ladies out there.

"Well sorry about that but I guess I should be going then. Alright bye" Hilary squealed. I shut off my phone and turned back to Chris who was now full out laughing at me.

"What? I am sorry but I like that song" I pouted acting as any slutty girl would when they want a guy. Truthfully I don't even know why I did.

"So you a Directioner then?" Chris asked taken aback.

"Sort of, but nothing like my friend Talia. She is flipping crazy", I said motioning the crazyness in the air to show the greatness of Talia's 'dedication'.

"Ooh I see, but yeah now that old lady over there is staring at us" Chris said, moving his head to one side to reveal an old couple sitting there watching us. I waved at them and motioned what Talia would call a hipthrust at the couple. And the old guy smiled. EEEWWWWW PERV! But luckily the old lady who I am guessing is his wife, knocked him in the head slightly with her purse, knocking her husband back into reality. I smiled and walked into the pizza shop.

Quickly I was consumed by the smell of pizza. Oh pizza, such an amazing food. This is such a beautiful place with the best pizza ever! It was so beautiful, I just couldn't resist walking up to the rotary and stealing all the pizza. But I had to restrict myself somewhere.

"So what kind of slice do you want?" Chris asked me.

"Um veggie", I said, eyeing the pizzas spinning on the rotary.

"Alright, one veggie and one meat special please", Chris ordered handing them a twenty. Wow, he is even paying for the food. It is official I am so dreaming. Then I smiled as a way to say thank you and turned towards the window. And saw Hilary, Talia and Leah. Shit, no. Hilary already probably told them to come get me, then I saw someone else. My little brother Taylor. I so totally forgot.

I was suppose to pick him up today after detention, and his eyes were all watery. No, I am the worse older sister ever.

"Hey um Chris I will be right back", I said rushing out.

"Taylor!" I screamed running up to my baby brother. He ran up to me and jumped into my arms, hugging me tightly. I squeezed him and held him tightly around me.

"I am so sorry Taylor I forgot about you" I sobbed into his shoulder.

"Iz ok Maddy Im ok" he said in his very cute little voice.

"Well it's alright, we just picked him up and brought him here. We knew that you were going to be here with Chris", Talia said flipping her phone in the hand, looking anxious for a text or phone call. I wonder what that is about.

"Hey buddy, do you want to go home with the girls or stay here with me" I asked my baby brother.

"I wanna stay here with you", he said hugging me again. I smiled and carried him in my arms. As I walked into the store, Chris was standing there holding two slices of pizza and wildly smiling.

"Sorry about that but I have to take care of my baby brother...If that's ok with you?" I asked him cocking my eyebrows. He smiled even wider.

"No problem, hey watch been up to Taylor" Chris said taking my brother from my hands.

"Hi Chris, I like your shoes" Taylor said smiling as well. How did my brother know Chris? Strange, I knew there was a connection somewhere.

"Wait you guys know each other?" I asked, adjusting my jacket.

"We met a while ago right buddy?" Chris said ruffling my brother's hair. While he just stood there nodding his head, ever so cutely. I stood shocked. I knew I reconized Chris from somewhere.

"Ooh that's cool, hey you want a peice Taylor?" I said avoiding the conversation that just rose., handing my brother a piece of my pizza. He took it and started to eat it rapidly.

"So you guys wanna go to the park or something and just hang out for a while?" Chris asked us, I turned towards him and thought for a bit.

"Sure I wanna go. Can we go Maddy, please" my brother pleaded.

"Of course little buddy!" I said smiling.

"Well let's go then" I said taking my brother's hand and walking out the door.

Finally, because of my brother I have had the best day ever. I got pizza with Chris, am hanging out with my favourite brother and going with them to the park. What could make this any better.

As I walked into the entrance of the park, I knew it could. Things were about to pick up.
