Chapter 1 (pt. 1)

He got another message from Min-So. Yoongi nervously ran his sweaty hands through his hair.
His scratch-covered skin was more white than usual. His messy hair and deep bags under his eyes had aroused suspicion in his brother, who had appropriately asked for explanations.  Without answers, the older had continued to keep an eye on Yoongi, but that day he was out on work.
Yoongi did not reply to the message. Another came. And another. And yet another.
The vibration of the phone made the boy jump, and he saw Min-So's image accompanied by the icons of answering or rejecting the call.
He immediately looked away. He still couldn't look her in the eyes, not after what she had done.
The phone stopped ringing. Yoongi heaved a sigh of relief and let himself go to the comfort of the bed, trying to chase away the many thoughts that had haunted him for almost 2 years.
Why did Min-So keep haunting him?  She was such a beautiful and good girl...
"I was, exactly." the mischievous voice of Min-So whispered in Yoongi's mind.
The shivers caressed the boy's back.
«Why do you keep sending me messages?» he asked, more to himself than to the voice.
"Think, kitten. You know why but you don't want to admit it." the voice chuckled "If you answer my calls you will know."
Yoongi really wanted to answer but his pride always stopped him.
«I don't want to give you the chance to kill me once again.»
"But I don't want to kill you, kitten, I just want you to experience what I felt ..."
«Let's see if you know this.  When was the last time I smiled for someone since I left you?»
"Exactly for this. When was the last time I laughed? It never happened because I was too busy crying for you."
Yoongi didn't answer. It was true, unfortunately.  Yoongi had left Min-So because he no longer loved her. He believed he had been kind in doing so, he also promised her not to become a problem in the future. And in fact he wasn't, Min-So was a problem for Yoongi. He hadn't slept for their last meeting for months.
Min-So asked Yoongi for a meeting because he "wanted to talk to them about their friendship."  Confused, Yoongi accepted the invitation only because he didn't have much to do, and he missed Min-So, because she was one of the people who knew and understood him better.
