Ever since the big accident, Ford had been acting really strange. He was an artist and he would draw pictures of Mabel's headless body but this time... He drew a picture of the big accident.
Stan had walked in on seeing Ford drawing the accident and sighed deeply. "For fuck sake, Ford.."
Ford stopped and looked up at him. "What? It's a far away view of the accident." Ford shrugged looking at his twin brother who looked very pissed.
"And how do you think Dipper would react if he saw that? I mean, Jesus Christ, Ford the kid will think it's for him and it will attack him." Stan crossed his arms, looking away.
"It's not for anyone I'm just drawing a picture of the accident, it's no big deal." Ford said defenselessly, looking back at his drawing. Stan just sighed deeply in response.
"Dinner is ready. Are you coming down?" Ford nodded in response, still not looking at his brother. Ford nodded in response as he worked on his piece.
"Yeah... yeah I'm coming..." He replied, clearly distracted. Stan sighed deeply and walked downstairs. After a little bit, Ford came downstairs and began eating. The family was quiet. Dead quiet. The only sounds that could be heard was the sounds of the knives and forks clattering on the plates. There was one empty chair at the dining table. It was Mabel's chair. Dipper looked at both his grunkles, wanting to break the awkward silence.
"It's really good, Grunkle Stan. Thank you." Dipper smiled a little. Stan nodded, a small smile was on his face.
"Thank you, buddy. You're welcome.." Stan smiled as he continued to eat. Ford was muttering to himself, looking really distressed. Dipper looked at Ford as he stopped eating.
"You okay, Grunkle Ford?" Dipper asked him but he didn't say a word. Ford continued to mumble to himself. "Grunkle Ford? Grunkle Ford, are you okay?" Dipper said a bit louder to grab his attention.
"Hmm?" Ford looked at the two of them then smiled a little. "Yeah... I'm fine..." he smiled then continued to eat. He didn't say another word after that. Dipper sighed deeply.
"It's about Mabel isn't it?" Dipper asked him. Ford immediately tensed up and Stan sighed deeply but the two of them didn't reply. "Ford, are you upset about Mabel?" Dipper repeated his question.
"Dipper, buddy.. not now.." Stan said as he patted Dipper's shoulder but Dipper didn't listen.
"Say something, Ford. Fucking say something!" Dipper raised his voice a bit. Ford slammed the table loudly and stood up, glaring down at Dipper.
"Don't you swear at me, you little shit! Don't you ever... raise your voice at me! I am your great uncle..! Do you understand?! All I do... is worry, and slave and defend you and all I get back is that... fucking face on your face...!" Ford yelled loudly. "I know you didn't mean it! I know that it was an accident but you could've fucking said something! And leaving her body in the car?! What the fuck is wrong with you, Dipper?! Why didn't you fucking say something?! You fucking idiot!" Ford screamed loudly at him. Dipper was speechless. He had never seen this side of his grunkle before. He looked up at him, tears streaming down his face. He couldn't believe what Ford said and what he called him. Ford sighed deeply and grabbed everyone's plates. "Is everyone done?" He walked to the kitchen, washing the plates. Dipper leaned his elbows on the table as he covered his face with his hands, crying into them. Stan too was very speechless. A word couldn't come out of his mouth. He had known Ford for such a long time yet he had never seen this side of him before. Dipper stormed up to his room and slammed the door loudly, setting Ford off again. "Don't you slam the door, Dipper!" He yelled loudly. Dipper cried hard and kicked a few things in his room out of anger.
"SHUT UP! JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Dipper screamed as he fell back into his bed, crying loudly and holding his head. "Just leave me alone...!" He sobbed loudly, grabbing onto his head tightly.
