You were a shy person, you had been best friends with Scott and Stiles since first grade when they had stopped a bully from stealing your book . You always had a book on you wherever you went, you loved the way you could escape from reality with only a few words.it was one of the ways that you and Lydia connected , you both could be seen at free period in the library talking about a book you had just read. She was your closest pack member ( aside from Scott and stiles of course )  They had no choice but to include you in their  supernatural discoveries since you three were always together. You occasionally helped them out when they needed to look up information on the newest creature in Beacon Hills. You were considered one of the pack  And got along with the other members the best you could  with your shyness, at the pack meetings you sat in a corner reading instead of on the numerous sofas like the rest of the pack members. They gave  you your space and respected  the fact that you didn't like being the center of attention. You had never had many friends so being part of the pack was a dream come true to you. But you started to see someone as more then a friend, if you guessed Lydia you get a gold star!

Despite the fact that you two were polar opposites , you remained best friends through all through thick and thin. Before you knew it, you had started to get a crush on her, but she never had to know that .It was a normal day at Beacon hills high school, or as normal as it can be in Beacon hills. You were heading to the library to do some research on the towns newest threat when you're books were knocked from your hands. "whoops, sorry nerd." You heard a snarky voice say. You groaned as you said " no problem heather." [sorry if your names heather] " bitch." You muttered under your breath as you bent down to pick up your books. " what did you just say to me???!!!" An offended heather screeched. You  mentally slapped yourself, their was no way this encounter could end anyway but poorly. You  were about to make a run for it when You heard the click of heels and a pair of  white pumps came into your line of sight, you looked up to see Lydia giving heather her are you serious? Look.  " is their a problem heather ?" She said  staring the other girl down. Heather gulped Trying to hide her fear, before saying" nothing you need to get involved in." 

You held your breath. Waiting for one of the girls above you to say something. Finally ,after what felt like eternity Lydia leaned over to heather and whispered something that you couldn't hear, but from the look of terror on heathers face you were guessing it was a threat. "S-sorry y/n." She said , her face turning pale. "There, now that wasn't so hard." Lydia said with a smile on her face. All heather did was nod before speed walking away. 

" you okay?" Lydia asks kneeling you down to help you pick up your books. " yeah , thanks . You didn't have to do that." " well i did and now that is one less blond bitch to bother you." You smiled as you stood " are you on your way to class? " you questioned the strawberry blond haired girl . " actually i was heading to the library, wanna join?" She asked . " sure, i was just heading there." " well then." Lydia said turning " you coming ?" You smile grew even larger as you hurried to catch up with her 

—Time skip- 

After finding some books on myths that looked promising ,you and Lydia sat down at one of the tables. When you were not even 5 minutes into your book, Liam and mason came running into the library earning them a "shhhhh." From the librarian. " do I want to know?." Lydia asked Turning a page in her book , mason gave a sheepish smile as he said " i don't think so ." " well i would like  to know why you came running in here of all places." You said putting down your book, their was no way you were gonna finish it with the boys in here. " well." Liam began but was interrupted by an angry Brett slamming open the doors. " Dunbar!" " what did you guys do?!" Lydia said exasperatedly. " tell you later!" Liam said quickly and he and mason ran towards the fire escape. " don't get caught." You muttered half heartedly, resuming the place in your book.
