In one episode, we learned that Britney, Carly and Kelly's ex-stepsister, is not actually Ramona's child. Her name is Jane Brown, a child runaway and (former?) delinquent.
Other than her name, we know almost nothing about her real identity.
Does her family know she's even alive? What makes her a 'delinquent'/what has she done? How did Ramona convince her to go along with her schemes? Why did she run away? In fact, are we even sure she ran away at all? Ramona has a history of kidnapping children (Raven).
We only know a few things for sure about her past;
1. It has been stated multiple times that she and Luna have been together pretty much their whole lives
2. In Little Carly's "Other Life" series, we saw Britney and Luna in jail, even though they seemed to be barely older than Raven and Carly were (So like, REALLY YOUNG. What kind of place locks up literal toddlers?)
3. She refuses to talk about it and seemed on the verge of a breakdown when questioned
4. SOMETHING in her past had to have screwed up her morals, since she seriously sees nothing wrong with anything anybody's done unless it's murder
After looking over these notes, my personal favorite stoty of what happened to Britney was a lot like what happened to Raven (only about half the trauma).
Ramona either found her after she ran away or kidnapped her, gained her trust, and then left her somewhere so that she could be used in a future plan. Of course, people aren't objects, they will not just stay the same, exactly where you left them. She and Luna ran off, doing whatever they wanted with no one to guide them and becoming delinquents. Until eventually, Ramona came back. She says she wants them to be her daughters, to come live with her in the palace of a rich king. It would seem like a dream come true, but really they were just two more pawns in Ramona's game. Like Raven was, they felt indebted to her for giving them this new life and the only love they've ever known, so why wouldn't they go along with her plans?
