The movie night (pt2)

Hour later...
Dipper pov
'I'll only make a move if she's interested..' I thought. That's when I woke up to my alarm and got up and stretched. "A lot more comfortable than the buss haha." I laughed at my own joke. Once sitting on the side of the bed I looked at my hands then noticed a phone number then followed by Wendy with a small heart. "I'll ask her more on this cuz I'm not putting my heart to someone who'll just use me." I told followed by "sometimes a leap of faith but on my terms unlike the bunker... on my terms not some shapeshifter, not a asshole wanna be tough guy just us." With confidence thinking about the good times. I got up grabbed my things took a photo of my hand and saved it Hiden images. "She gave me her number without asking... wait without me asking, she likes me." I told myself as I added her number and washed it off before goin back down stairs.

Wendy pov
The dork later cane down and looked well rested. "Looks like someone got some good rest." I told him and I couldn't help but blush but before he could respond Stan told him to get to work be useful.

Time skip to getting off work
Dipper ran up to hold the door for her as she got off. "Wow what a gentleman... see you at 7:30 dude." Wendy told him followed a wink. Once the door closed Stan came in , "movie date dipper?" He asked, "yeah... kinda been wanting a date with her for sometime." He replied with as he walked to the stairs. "Good job kiddo have fun you better get ready." Stan replied as he went to grab two beers and relax with Ford in the lab.

After getting ready dipper choose a black t shirt , dark blue jeans before he went out the door with his pine tree book that he put inside of his jacket. 'First day here and a lot has happened wow', back at Wendy's she got cleaned up grabbed some jean shorts and a green tank top. Once she was ready both of them being quick on their feet only taking a minutes 'hopefully he still likes me.' Wendy thought to herself as she combed her hair. That's when a knock on the bathroom, "yes who is it?" She asked, "it's me dear." Manly dan replied with, "so who's the special someone, you haven't been this excited about something for awhile?" He asked as he leaned on the door. "Dipper pines, he may have just gotten back but seven years gave ourselves plenty of time to think." She responded, "true true just have fun tonight and don't get too wild." Manly dan responded with a smile as he went back downstairs.

Time skip to 7:15pm

Dipper was walking up to the front door of her place it's been a long time since he's been there but glad to be. He knocked a few times which manly dan answered, "well well long time no see." He told the young man, "yes it has sir good to see you too." Dipper responded with also outstretched his right hand for a hand shake. Manly dan gladly accepted and yelled "DIPPER IS HERE!!... don't have to much fun tonight." Dippers eyes went wide and blushed. "Come in she'll be down in a second." He told dipper. "Thanks." Dipper replied with that's when the red head that grown apart his life stepped down from the stairs. "I'll leave you two." Dan told them and went to the garage to work on some lumber tools. Dipper was ah struck how beautiful she looked, "ready for some movies goofball." Wendy told him snapping him out of checking her out. "As ready as I ever be." He responded with.

Dipper pov
She guided me up to her room like old times but I was confident about tonight. She was excited to see me and her dad likes me over other guys.

The two got comfortable and put in 21 jump street and near the end they were catching glances from each other. "So dip have you been seeing anyone?" Wendy asked as she turned on her side to give him her full attention. "Uh no one..." dipper stuttered remembering he asked the same question a long time ago. "You Wendy?" , "uh someone who's handsome , smart , likes... paranormal stuff and a gentleman." She responded with teasingly. "Mmm sounds familiar but there's a lot out there like that." Dipper responded with locking eyes trying to find answers in her eyes. That's when she placed her hand on his cheek and pulled him into a kiss. Dipper was shocked but slowly responded with followed by when they were backing away for air he playfully bit her lower lip. "I love you Wendy always have." He told her still wrapping his mind around what happened. "I love you too dipper pines." Wendy replied with a smile coming across her face. Both leaned in for another kiss and moving each other's hands on Wendy's cheeks too Wendy putting her hands on dippers neck. Both stopped to grab another breath both having a long awaited dream come true. "Dude finally a dream come true for both us!" Wendy said in excitement. "So true Wendy!" Dipper replied holding her hands. That's when she jumped off the bed and went to her mini fridge and grabbed her jack Daniels and her old shot glass, "gotta celebrate some how haha bottoms up!" She said In excitement. "Seems things just escalated!" Dipper said jokingly and Wendy poured him a shot and handing him the glass. "One chapter closes another begins." Dipper said looking at her just then he took it full strength. Wendy was impressed with him how smooth he took it, "dude what you have iron kidney?" Wendy asked as dipper handed the glass to her for her celebration shot, "kinda." Dipper replied with followed up with laughing. Wendy took her shot both laughing at how stubborn they were, "I better put this away." She said with a sly smile, "dr.funtimes is back!" She added with as she put the drink away before they got carried away. Which she jumped back beside him on the bed, "let's put in another movie it's only 9:30." Dipper said now they scooted to the back of the bed and snuggled up to each other sharing popcorn and dipper put his phone on Wendy's charger.

The two enjoyed watching more movies till Wendy fell asleep and dipper turned off the TV and sat the popcorn bowl on the floor. It was around 1:30 am that's when dipper received a text.
Anyopmyes : "contractor DP we got another job for you."
Dipper grabbed his phone and responded
"What is it?" Dipper requested
"Capture or kill the creature of the farm house deep north, even your Grunkle Ford never went up there for a reason."
Dipper knew whatever bothered Ford was seriously dangerous.
"You still gotta pay me for the job on dealing with the black eyed children on Arizona's high ways." Dipper responded with
"We'll be sending a agent to pay you handsomely tomorrow for your work , your the best in the business." The unidentifiable person responded with.
"I gtg sleep first day back we'll discuss this more in person in a few weeks, MP out." Dipper responded with, which he looked at the red head sleeping on his chest. It hurt him keeping this secret from her and anyone he knew but it was for their own safety. He put his phone down and wrapped his arms back around her and kissed her on her forehead before falling asleep peacefully.
Manly dan later came up stairs and saw that both them two had a smile on their faces, "there's a reason I approved him the only guy in our house seven years ago." Dan said quietly before leaving them and going to his own room.
