Angela's POV
I was on my way to trippie redds house. He was my best friend from way back and me and him haven't spoken in a while.
When I got there I knocked on his door waiting patiently for him to open the door. Five seconds later he opened the door and we gave each other a big hug.
"Where you been babygirl I missed you." He said leading me inside the house and shutting and locking the door behind me.
"I've been dealing with a lot of stuff lately." I replied looking down at the ground. "Hey don't be sad babygirl. Here come in the living room and I'll get you some food." He said and I smiled and ran to the living room.
I reminded myself of Stokeley sometimes. We were both always hungry. I made myself at home and turned on the tv. "Hey ang what do you want to eat?" Redd said to me as I scrolled through the channels.
"Pizza!!!" I yelled like a baby. I heard him laugh in the kitchen. "Ok you big baby I'll order some." He said coming out the kitchen with his phone.
While he ordered I looked at my phone to see messages from my sister Stokeley and Jahseh.
Jasmine-Sis where are you I just got to the house and told Stokeley you were missing.
Ski- Yo sis in law where you at your sister told me that you were missing so I told Jahseh
Jahseh- I swear to god you better not be with another nigga!!!!
Shit! I forgot to tell my sister that I was leaving and now shit is about to go down. I quickly turned off my location so that they couldn't find me.
"Yurrrr wassup ski!" I heard Redd say on his phone. I quickly ran to him and grabbed his phone. I ended the call before he could say anything and threw it on the sofa.
"Redd you can't tell them I'm here! And do they know where you live!!!" I half yelled half spoke to him. "Nah they don't why. Ang you good?" He said to me looking confused.
"Ok good just don't tell anyone where you live! Do you hear me?!?" I yelled. "yo ang chill babygirl I won't." After he said that the doorbell rang.
I quickly ran to the living room and jumped behind the sofa making Redd laugh. "Babygirl you real life trippin they not gonna find you." He said as he opened the door. "Thanks man."
He said. After I heard the door close and I smelled pizza.
I peeked from behind the sofa to see Redd put a box of pizza on the table. Once he saw me he laughed again. "You see it was just the pizza delivery guy." He motioned me to come over and get a slice.
I got up and ran to get one then I went to the living room and sat down on the couch putting on some music while I ate. Redd sat on the couch with me and we both talked and danced to the music. After a while we started having a conversation.
I told him about Jahseh and what had happened with geneva. And how Jahseh was on some sort of killing spree since I told him that I needed a break.
"Well he not gonna find out about you being here. And it kinda stings that ya did ya thing." He said taking a long drink of soda he got for us.
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have told you that." I replied embarrassed that I told him that when he likes me. "It's ok babygirl your here now with me and technically speaking your single so fuck that nigga."
I laughed at how evily he said that. He chuckled too and we spent the rest of the night watching movies and playing video games.
Morning
I woke up in Redds bed. Shit! I never responded to any of them and I'm pretty sure Jahseh was freaking out about that right about now. I checked my phone that I found on the bedside and checked my messages.
Jasmine-Sis please be safe! I'm worried about you please text me when you get the chance!
Ski- yo sissy wya yo your sis and Jahseh going crazy!!!
Jahseh- TELL THE NIGGA YOU WITH IMA KILL HIM!!!!
I laughed at the fact that Jahsehs text was the only hostile one. "Good morning babygirl." I heard Redds say. I looked up and smiled in reply. "Here I gotchu some stuff so you could change and my cousin gonna take you back to your house.
I nodded at him when I saw a girl come up from behind him. I quickly did my early morning routine and put on the clothes Redd got for me.
When I was done I went downstairs and had breakfast with them. We talked about life and if we were able to go to trippie's concert next month.
I of course was scared. I didn't think it was a good idea to go to a public place with trippie so I told him I'd think about it. When we were finished me and Redds cousin got in her car.
"Hey make sure my babygirl is safe you got it cuz" he said to her from the window. "Yea I got you cuz." She replied and with that we drove off on the way back to my house. What fun this is going to be when I get back.......
