Louis paused the movie he was watching and set down his mug as he made his way to the hallway, where the dryer had buzzed, telling him the clothes he'd put in the machine were dry. He threw all the garments into a basket and closed its door. His socks slid across the wooden floor as he walked back to the couch.

He pressed play and set the basket down on the floor next to him and one by one picked up each piece of clothing and began to fold it. Most of the clothes he was folding were his own, since most of Lili's clothes were pink and other light, girly colors.

He was in the middle of folding one of his t-shirts when he heard something come from Lili's room followed by her crying. He paused the movie once more and sped-walked to his daughter's room.

He saw her small figure standing up in her crib in the darkness. There was just enough light coming in from outside to make her out. He walked over to where she was and stroked her hair.

"What is it baby girl? Don't cry.."

"D-Daddy.." She cried out.

"No baby, daddy isn't here, remember?"

She squeezed her eyes shut and continued to cry.

"Lili, don't cry just go to sleep, it's late."

"Daddy, daddy, daddy!" She kept crying out.

"Did you have a bad dream?" Louis asked.

"Daddy!" She cried, and then she pointed towards the corner of her room.

Louis looked at where she was pointing and jumped back a little.

"Jesus Christ, what are you doing here?"

"Here for my daughter, since you never let me see her."

"There is a reason why I don't let you come here, or let you see here. How'd you even get in?"

"Don't worry about it."

"I will worry about it. You can't just break into our apartment in the middle of the night. Harry, please leave."

"I didn't break in, I'm just here to visit."

"Visitors usually come at reasonable hours and they knock before coming in through the front door."

"Well who cares, I'm here now."

"Leave, please."

"Yeah, every time you ask me to do that, it never quite works out." He smirked.

"It never works out because you're always drunk, which I'm assuming you are right now."

"You're so cute when you're right." Harry said, taking a few steps closer to Louis.

"Please just get out."

"Just let me spend some time with my baby, and at least let me say hi to her."

"You already said hi, you scared her, and now I think it's time for you to go. Please do not make me fight in front of her."

"C'mon, I just want to talk with you."

"Now you want to talk to me? Okay fine, let's go out to the living room and talk, not in here, let her go back to sleep."

"Goodnight Lili." Harry said to his daughter, placing a small kiss on top of her head.

Those comforting kisses that once put her at peace now felt strange and she began to cry harder. Louis sighed and tried to keep comforting her.

Harry stepped back and stood by the doorway, watching.
