I set myself a goal, a journey, a mission
Made myself understand it was an important decision
In the process got hurt
So had to stay alert
Kept myself strong and superior above all
Just for one thing,but it wasn't just a thing
My heart yearned for it
My soul empty without it
Always looked for it
But yet never seized it
All that pain, all that sorrow
Walked through the rain but yet no rainbow
Why go through all that if none of it helped
For once wanted joy and a smile on my face
But i never reached my goal and my journey got to an end
Felt so uncomfortable
Cause i always had to pretend
But why all the sadness:(
When all i wanted was happiness :)
