( Niall's POV )

I wanted to scream. With happiness, with anger, with sadness. Windy was really nice about taking me to Nando's, and I have to admit, I am a bit hungry. I looked over at Windy, and my stomach fluttered. It had been good to see her again, but I didn't realize that I had ever liked her as something more than a friend, but now it was all I could think about. She had an odd expression on her face, and kept staring at her hands the whole time.

"Niall? What happened last night? You know, the note?" she asked, a concerned look on her face.

I grimaced, and was about to tell her when her cell phone went off.

"Sorry, just a sec," she said, and brushed the hair out of her face. I couldn't help but stare. She was nothing like any girl I had ever met.

"Do you mind if I go? My sister wants to go shopping, and I haven't seen her in ages. Here, take this," she said, and as she got up to go, she left me a wad of ones. I grinned, and beckoned for her to go.

She waved her hand at me as her purple Honda Fit pulled out of the Nando's parking lot.

( Windy's POV )

I saw Starry from a block away. Her raven colored hair was pulled back into a high ponytail, and she was arguing with a random guy who was asking for her number. I grinned, and pulled up to her.

"Hey pretty thing. Need a ride?" I asked coyly. She giggled, and hopped in. As we drove away, she stuck her hand out the window, and I was pretty sure she flipped the random guy the bird. Or maybe it was just a number one sign with her middle finger. You never know with Starry.

We slid into a spot right in front of the mall entrance, and ran inside. I went nuts and bought maybe a bit too many shoes, but hey! If you really want more shoes, then there is no such thing as too many shoes. Unless you are Starry. She has a shoe room. A. Whole. Room. FOR SHOES!

As we started to head back to the entrance we came in, for some reason, this little old lady running some Psychic store thing caught my attention and for some reason, I was drawn to her.

"My dears, I have plenty of good specials! Would you like a Transfer, a Reading, or today's special, a Free Prediction!" she rambled.

I decided to be nice, and bought a Trasfer, whatever that was. She led us to a back room, and made us some tea. We both drank it, and it was kinda gross, but since I paid her for it, I decided to finish my cup and leave. Starry and I both exchanged glances as we walked out, and I think we were both thinking the same thing. That was weird.

We hopped in my car, and began to drive back to the boys' flat, when I saw some guy heading straight for us, swerving and avoiding cars. I quickly tried to avoid him, but he stepped on the gas, and I watched as he hit my car head on. Something hit my head, and everything spiraled into darkness.
