I painted a sight to see,
Where each colour held emotion,
Every scene captured,
In the light of the human eye.
When the skies poured,
Everything was black and grey,
And then the skies cleared,
It revealed yellow so cheery and bright,
But then lightning flashed and thunder crackled,
Traces of betrayal hung in the air made it red,
For betrayal caused revenge and bitterness,
And the revenge called for avenge,
And giving in to this makes me weak,
Like it was suddenly and encouraging green,
And that green got done what could never be undone ,
The guilt made everything go blinding white,
For to live with it would have made me rogue,
And in the end with left so little ,
All because of those life like colours,
Made me think to myself,
If it would hurt to be colourless,
Or hurt to be emotionless,
For I painted myself within.
Hi!
I'm not really sure if this is a poem , probably a mix of poetry and an essay . This song's a favourite right now.
Hope you like it!
