guy who shouted.

the guy nodded and "alas" just
shrugged. ❝ not a surprise,

ka ba nandito?❞ one of the
kidnappers said. alas just
smirked and pointed aruelia,
❝ i'm here to save that
princess.❞

the room was then filled with
silence. moments after, the
silence was replaced by the
kidnappers' maniacal laughs.

❝ you? will save her? ha-ha!
are you kidding me?❞

❝ nope,❞ he said with confidence
while shaking his head.❝ i can
even do it right now, and you
wouldn't notice it,❞ he added.

the kidnappers laughed again.
❝ really? how? ipakita mo nga!
huwag puro yabang!❞ their
leader said with a hit of
amusement of her voice.

❝ ganito.❞ right after saying it,
he immediately threw something
towards them. at first, they
thought it was a bomb. but instead
of them exploding, they became
blinded by the smokes and
they coughed because of the
smell, including aruelia.

while aruelia was coughing, she
fixed her vision to see clearly
against the smokes. then she felt
that the ties on her arms and feet
was loosen. it was removed by
someone.

she was about to stand when
someone carried her. she almost
screamed when her mouth was
covered by a masculine hand.

❝ sh, i'm trying to save you. so
behave.❞

she didn't budge and let herself
being carried by the guy.
