Drown

Fake a smile so they won't see
Hide the pain so he won't notice
Take away the broken glass
And the dreams that you've shattered on the ground
Push away the breaking heart
Maybe you'll believe it too
One more here, two more there
A little deeper, a little longer
Keep the heartbreak hidden under
Smiles and lies that say "I'm fine"
Deception is key
Make sure they don't see
Make sure they don't know
They don't care anyway
They don't need to know
Gather the tools one by one
Nothing strange is going on
Now you finally have enough
Do it now before you're not strong enough
Drown the pain
Drown the anger
Drown the hate
And drown the pills down with it all
